"Sihna" is inspired by the custom of the celebration of the Sichna that takes place in Litochoro on the day of the Epiphany. It has its roots in Byzantium and continues to this day. Sihna are tall poles with a silver or gold cross on top, bearing colorful flags. These are tributes of guilds and seafaring families, which participate with a specified ritual in the sanctification of the waters in Litochoro. Get to know the local tradition through your stay at "Sihna". The space The apartment "Sihna" is a space inspired by tradition but with a modern approach and abstract aesthetics. It consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a spacious living room-kitchen with a sofa that converts into a comfortable bed for two. The spaces are equipped with smart flat-screen TVs as well as a high-quality Bluetooth speaker to enjoy your music. The bathroom has a shower. Free custom care products are provided for our guests. You don't have to worry about towels and linens, everything is ready upon your arrival. The kitchen is designed with the functionality standards for preparing a meal with fresh local ingredients that you can buy from the local market. It has a refrigerator, ceramic stove, oven, kitchenware, toaster, kettle and coffee maker with capsules provided. The apartment is just a 5-minute walk from the center of Litochoro, a meeting point for both guests and locals. Don't miss out on a walk in the City Park, 300m away! In the wider area you can explore many sights, such as Ancient Dion (10 km) and Prionia of Olympus (17 km). Inside the accommodation you will find information about your travels! Other things to note Litochoro is one of the most popular destinations, as it is the gateway to Olympus. In the area, from early in the morning, bakeries and shops welcome you with hot coffee and delicious treats. The area where the accommodation is located has supermarkets, cafes, bars, taverns and a post office. You will also have the opportunity to have fun enjoying the award-winning beaches of Plaka, Litochoro (5km). Every Monday there is a flea market where you will have the opportunity to buy traditional Greek products for your cooking. You can also park your car for free around the building where the apartment is located and drive to Ancient Dion, the city of Katerini or start your adventure on Olympus.
