In your flat you will discover lovely architectural details: vaulted ceilings, old stable doors with iron fittings, calf harnesses as towel rails, mirrored old iron windows, cast-iron columns, rough plastered walls... From the terrace you have an uninterrupted view of the surroundings, the large garden, the wide meadows and the tall trees. As I like to cook myself, I have also equipped the flat to a high standard. The space The apartment "Morgenlicht" was built in the former stable of the farm. Its historical elements have been carefully integrated: the vaulted ceiling (known as "Prussian capping ceiling"), which is supported by a 300 kg cast iron column, has been preserved in its original form. The old stable-doors have been refurbished and used with the original iron fittings to become particularly rustic room doors. The towel holders do not come from any hardware store; instead they are made from the original calf harness, and a nice old iron window now serves as a bathroom mirror. "Morgenlicht" is 63 square meters in size and is designed for 4 guests. It has a daylight bathroom with a walk-in shower, a small storage room and a separate bedroom furnished with a hand painted country style bed. In the living-dining room, there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and refrigerator. There we put another double bed where two other persons can sleep seperated by curtains and a waredrobe. LED satellite TV with DVD player and the big dining table give you all the comforts of modern life. Through the large, rung glass windows and doors and from the south-east terrace, you can enjoy a romantic view into the garden. For a healthy indoor climate, there are handmade, open-pore terracotta-tiles under which there is modern floor heating. Guest access You will feel at home in our beautiful garden, whether on the lovely terrace or in the beach chairs by the rippling pond. And when you come back from your excursions in the evening, the illuminated garden awaits you - unforgettable! Other things to note No Pets allowed. No smoking in the appartements.
