Our home is the ideal starting point to quickly reach the most famous attractions of Tuscany, far from the chaos of the city and enjoying the peace of the quiet Florentine countryside. The space The flat is located approximately 1 km away from Montespertoli, a characteristic country village in the very heart of the Chianti hills. Due to its location, Montespertoli is the ideal starting point to visit most of Tuscany's places of interest, while keeping away from the chaos of the city and enjoying calmness and peacefulness in the Florentine countryside. Florence is located 25km away; Siena 55km; Pisa 75km; San Gimignano 30km; Volterra 50km. With just a short stroll from the flat (about 300m), you can visit the awesome 11th century church and its Sacred Art Museum. You may also want to visit the Wine Museum, which is only 2km away. Montespertoli is indeed well-known for its production of wine (celebrated during the Festa del Vino -Wine-Fest-, between the lastt week of May and the first week of June) and olive oil. Montespertoli hosts several country festivals during the whole year: the Sagra della Ranocchiocciola (Frog-and-Snail Festival) in September, Sagra del Polliglio (Chicken-and-Rabbit Festival) in May, Veglia sulle Aie (Farmyards' Wake) from May to October, Pane, Olio e Tartufo Bianco (Bread, Olive Oil and White Truffle Festival) in November, and many more. Guest access Our guests are granted access to a lawn which will be at their complete disposal. They're also welcome to walk in our vineyard and olive grove Other things to note If you don't have a car it could be a problem (the bus stop is 2km far from the apartment). Please contact us before booking if you are travelling with public transportation only. We do not provide breakfast The place is in the countryside, but not in a completely isolated area. You may hear some neighbour's rooster or barking dogs at night, which might be a bit outlandish if you're not used to it. We hope you won't mind some call of the wild! Two rooms have a balcony, the third room (on the front side) doesn't have a balcony and is less quiet. If we receive a reservation from 2 people we will prepare a double bed.
