The is a dedicated bike path most of the way from our house to the beach, about a 7 to 8 minutes leisurely bike ride. Beach parking is available at various places. We are about 35 to 40 minutes to Charleston, and 40 to 45 minutes to the Charleston airport. The house includes a large deck, screened in porch, large, enclosed wooden floor outdoor shower, full service kitchen and a clothes washer and clothes dryer. There is a two car garage and plenty of parking in the driveway and paved apron in front of the garage. The house is on a rarely traveled, quiet street. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and a kitchen starter set (dishwasher soap, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels, etc.) are provided. An iron and ironing board, and a hair blow dryer in the two full bathrooms, are also provided. You should bring your own beach towels.
