Secluded & Peaceful 3 BR w/ gorgeous outdoor space
The Galloway House showcases original fine art pieces that I have painted. My hope is that guests will be able to relax in our historic home during their visit to Xenia. Guests will have access to the whole house, including the kitchen and laundry. We love art and hospitality and welcome you to come and enjoy our home on a private street in Xenia! We have easy access to Xenia’s bike path and nearby attractions, including Dayton and Yellow Springs. Guests will have access to the whole house, excluding owners' closets/storage areas marked. The garage is only for owners' storage, not guest use. Guests will have 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, plus a twin over twin trundle in bedroom number 3. There is a full bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms. There is a half bath on the main floor and one additional full bath in the basement. The laundry is in the basement. There is a full kitchen, separate dining, and living room. There is a garden/patio space where bikes may be parked. The information desk in the foyer will have bike trail maps and brochures that feature area restaurants and attractions. We provide WiFi, basic kitchen supplies, microwave, refrigerator, oven/stove, dish washer, a Keurig coffee maker, a drip brew coffee maker, tea kettle for tea, and Smart TV. The Galloway House is yours for the duration of your stay. The garage is the owner's storage. We love sharing our historic home and love meeting our guests, but also want you to have your own space and enjoy your time here. If you need anything at any time please contact us through the Airbnb app. The Galloway House is 2 blocks from Xenia’s bike path. There are a variety of restaurants nearby for takeout and dine-in. The Devil Wind Brewing Co is located in downtown Xenia. Nick’s restaurant is right down the road and serves excellent burgers. Los Mariachis and Acapulco are two standout Mexican styled restaurants. The Dairy station is also within walking distance from the Galloway House. We are 15 minutes from Cedarville, 12 minutes from Yellow Springs, 20 minutes from WPAFB and WSU, and 30 minutes from downtown Dayton. Please park in the front of the house near the sidewalk that leads to the front door. We enjoy living in Xenia. It is also the bicycle capital of the Midwest. Our home is also unique because it is historic, private, and has beautiful outdoor spaces to take advantage of. Come enjoy our small town charm.
