Forest Edge is situated in a tranquil location with the best of both worlds, spectacular views of the Hazards Mountains and Honeymoon Bay from the expansive front deck and most rooms, with a rear deck facing the native eucalypt forest adjoining the Freycinet National Park. This property is proudly and professionally managed by Freycinet Holiday Houses. Native orchids grow just beyond the back door and wallabies and the local birdlife are regular visitors. There are hiking, mountain biking and 4WD tracks in the forest and it is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and the beach. Forest Edge has a large open plan living area incorporating dining and lounge facilities and a modern kitchen with quality appliances. Floor to ceiling windows open onto the front deck making the most of the stunning vista, and a heat pump keeps it cosy throughout the year. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms over two levels that can sleep up to eight people (two queen size beds, a double bed and a single bunk bed and single bed). The house is suitable for couples or families and there are games and books for adults and children to enjoy. Please note There is a semi-active construction site nearby, which may operate Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. We understand that this can be disruptive, and we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause. However, we have heavily discounted the rental rate as a gesture of appreciation for your understanding. The access code and information to enter the property is automatically generated by our system at 2:50 pm on the day of your arrival. This code will be sent out as a text message to the mobile number on your Airbnb account. If you have an overseas mobile number or a landline, please call us more than 48 hours prior to your arrival with alternative details, so we can give you access details for your stay. 2. The address, compendium and information on your property is on the confirmation email we have sent you upon booking. Please send us your direct email so we can ensure you get this information. 3. A beautiful and peaceful location, set in a quite no through road. There is no public transport in Coles Bay. You will need to drive to many attractions such as Wineglass Bay and the Marine Farm. It is a short walk to beaches, shops and restaurants and cafe's. Coles Bay is a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart & 2.5 hour's drive from Launceston (if you drive down the Midland Hwy and across from Campbell town) Please be careful driving at night; as soon as the sun starts going down, the native wildlife starts to come out. It is advisable to try to be at your next destination before dark, wherever you are driving in Tasmania.
