This Stunning Apartment with Breathtaking views is situated so close to the city centre on the sort after Cashmere Hills. The apartment boasts 180 degree views of the city and the surrounding mountain ranges. Just a two minute walk to the closest café, bar, restaurants or bus stop and a ten minute drive to the city centre, everything is on your doorstep. Relax on recliners in the private garden then in the evenings take in the most spectacular sunsets over the mountain ranges The space The views are outstanding when you arrive, they span across the Canterbury Plains to the Southern Alps, the sunsets are truly spectacular. The apartment is set in a relaxing garden environment. It is a very large section, hidden away in the hill suburb of Cashmere; you'll feel like the city is a million miles away,( but just a short ten minute drive) you may even hear our old pet sheep Millie who resides in the paddock below the property. The private access to the apartment is down 15 steepish steps taking you down the side of the house. The access is not suitable for wheelchairs or anyone with mobility issues . The apartment is private with your own entrance and is perfect for travelers wanting their own space as we keep our family space upstairs private, but we do love helping out if you have any queries about the area. Our garden is very spacious. Outside your apartment is for your own private use. We do have another level (as the garden is tiered) past your garden where our children sometimes play but is private again from your area. We welcome our guests and look forward to their arrival. We have a compendium in the apartment with all the information you need from dining out, movie theatres, transport , shopping, arts and crafts , markets and general information about the area. We also have a large up to date bus route showing you al the relevant travelling times for you wanting to go in and out of the city (10 minutes away) There are loads of walks and running tracks on our doorstep . I get out and run every day so if you need information about the tracks ring me anytime. There is also a adventure mountain bike park five minutes away with a high speed chairlift to the top of the Port Hills (you are able to use the chairlift just for sight seeing). The park has New Zealand's longest zip lines for those a little more daring! You can hire bike gear at the park . It has awesome facilities and a great licensed restaurant so you can get a well deserved wine or beer after a day of fun ! Guest access To access this apartment you have your own private gate with 15 steepish steps leading down the side of the house to your own private front door. You have full access to a totally private garden directly in front of your apartment. To access the apartment late, we have a lock box at the gate. Other things to note As this is a downstairs apartment just like any split level living you may hear the odd noise. We are a quiet family so don’t expect any noise from us after 8.30- 9pm. If you are wanting to go skiing feel-free to ask us about skiing options. Coming from a background of skiing and John was a fully qualified ski instructor (many years ago) so we are more than happy to share our knowledge and experience about the local skiing on offer.
