Green Lake fills the windows at Loon, a spacious lakefront home with its own private beach and dock. Cook and gather with the water in view, then head outside for swimming, kayaking and evenings by the fire. Four bedrooms plus a walk-out apartment, all with lake views, sleep 11 in beds and up to 15 with sleeper sofas. No TVs, but fast fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout. The house is heated and winterized, so it works well into fall and winter. Acadia and Bar Harbor are about 45 minutes away. Please bring a properly fitted life jacket for any child who needs a specific size. Guests are welcome to bring a boat: let us know in advance so we can confirm your mooring assignment. Boats cannot be launched on the property, but there are public ramps nearby and rental companies that deliver. Keypad entry allows self check-in. The home has a dock and mooring, but please inform us in advance if you're bringing a boat. Fishing requires a valid Maine license.
