The space Hi, I'm Erika and I'd love to host you ………………………………. My "Corner" is a completely independent house for exclusive use, with a comfortable and large terrace, courtyard and garden. In short, a corner of peace and tranquility in complete privacy. The house is located in a city context very close to all services, which can also be reached on foot, but it is still surrounded by greenery and has a beautiful view of the Bellone park (Piazzo). We are surrounded by children's parks, where you can jog or walk with your friend fourzampe. The house remains two minutes from the Borgo del Piazzo, a historic area of Biella with a beautiful architecture that has remained unchanged over the centuries, where you can find history (there is also the house of Amedeo Avogadro di Quaregna (chemical-physical), wineries and typical restaurants. The Piazzo has also been the location of numerous films, so don't miss it! The house is a 5-minute walk from the town center (famous for the wool industries (Zegna, Cerruti, Piacenza, Fila, Liabel etc. with numerous outlets) and for being the birthplace of the Vespa: it was born here! A plaque in imperishable memory) as well as for numerous cultural attractions, such as, for example, the Art Museum of the Pistoletto Foundation. We are a 5-minute drive from the beautiful village of Ricetto di Candelo, a place to visit given its uniqueness and its preservation, dating back to 1200. A stone's throw away you can find the Burcina hilltop, famous for its spring bloom, but not least for the autumn foliage that recalls amateurs and photographers from abroad. Another enchanting park (also a bike path) is located in the city "il Gorgomoro", about 15 minutes from the house: it also houses a waterfall from which the most courageous dive into the natural pool below. At 15 minutes you can find spectacular villages, the granitic Piedicavallo and its Alpine lake of the Old, Rosazza called the capital of Spiritism and Freemasonry (also the location of some films), the beautiful Sordevolo also home to the famous representation of the Passion of Christ ...but the villages are too many and unique to be listed all. Also worth a suggestion is the Bessa, a huge natural park about 15 minutes away by car, a place where you can explore the thick mystery of the "Erratic Massi della Bessa", the rock engravings, or enter the chestnut trails where you can still find the Roman installations of washing and gold extraction: yes! , gold was extracted here, and even today there are numerous gold seekers in the area. Also 15 minutes away you can visit the famous Sanctuary of Oropa (with the Black Madonna) and the magical Bose Monastery (I invite you to inform you), destinations that attract visitors also from abroad. At about 20 minutes you can find: Bielmonte with the enchanting panoramic Zegna (a destination for motorcyclists also from the nearby regions), which here also houses the ski slopes and snowboarding (much appreciated for children because under 2000 meters); Viverone with its lake and the possibility of walking, fishing or aperitifs on the boat. I am a motorcyclist and can recommend numerous routes if you are interested. Don't forget that Biella also has an ancient culinary tradition, with numerous typical dishes, as well as being the birthplace of Menabrea Beer and numerous local micro-breweries that form a gastronomic excellence. Don't forget to try the many local cured meats as well as cheeses, such as the famous Toma. I can recommend typical restaurants. About 50 km away you can find Lake Orta (with the beautiful Orta San Giulio) and Lake Maggiore (which certainly needs no introduction. Erika's corner is equidistant between Turin and Milan (about 80/85 km) so it is also ideally located for visiting other important realities. Whatever brings you to Biella, you're welcome. For those who come to visit us, know that there is no sea here, beautiful mountains, enchanting hills, surrounded by lakes and bucolic landscapes, but there is no sea. We are sorry. The house has a kitchen, and based on the continuous requests, it is confirmed that the kitchen is inside the house, and the refrigerator is inside the kitchen. I know it may seem strange...but that's how it is. The bathroom is also inside the house and is heated: this is how we use it in winter. The bathroom fixtures are slightly raised (about +3 cm) to facilitate older people. They are not 1.80 meters as someone claims, but they reflect a regulation. So if you have had problems on the roller coaster at Gardaland or suffer from vertigo, please consider this aspect. However, you don't need to be a bungee jumping expert to use it correctly. We provide the harness. If you are unable to enter the shower because the door does not open when you push it, try pulling it. No complaints will be accepted from people who get stuck on the wall while climbing over the shower. We guarantee that pulling outwards will open it! The house has a boiler and I confirm that here in Biella, especially in winter, we heat with radiators, which are supplied with the house. The house has a day-night winter temperature in winter of 20-21 degrees, so if you need 28 degrees it is not for you. It is a house, we do not raise turtles and we are not equipped for stays with exotic animals. Inside the house there are lamps, and here in Biella we have the unhealthy habit of turning them on with switches. We don't ask guests to use telekinesis, but if you can, let us know. There are water taps in several places: kitchen, bathroom and outside garden. If no hot water arrives but only cold water, we solve it by using the left tap and, without disturbing the usual telekinesis, we get hot water. It's not magic, it's science, but don't copy the system. We are thinking of patenting it since we realized that not many people know about it. We are equipped with pots and various small appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine. To make coffee you need the pods, some of which are complimentary upon arrival, but be careful! To get the beloved coffee you need water. If there is no water, due to the inherent needs of the appliance, this will give you an error. We apologize, we are getting ready to do it without water but with poor results. In the kitchen we also have the stoves and if you smell gas when you turn them on to prepare a good dish, we apologize, we are still old-fashioned and gas comes out of the gas stoves when you turn the knob.
