Matamata Country B&B is a boutique guest studio, added to the property of one of the first original homes in the district. Boasting a beautiful rural location just two minutes drive from Matamata township and only 15 minutes drive to the infamous Hobbiton. Guests can enjoy complete quiet and privacy as the guest studio is self-contained with it's own access. Nothing has been spared in terms of comfort and luxury, from the modern décor through to the superior quality bed and linen. The space The guest studio is north facing with large windows and panoramic views of thoroughbred farmland and the Kaimai Ranges. The private courtyard is the perfect area to absorb the beauty and tranquillity of farm life and watch the sunset on the horizon. Inside, the room has been fitted with quality fixtures; a comfortable king size bed, a luxurious double shower and modern kitchenette area. In winter it is beautifully sunny and warm. Perfect for a romantic treat or get-away! The space has been optimally designed for two people, with three still a comfortable stay. The studio contains a Queen Sofa bed that can be set up for an additional charge per guest. A cot is available on request. Guests may also enjoy a courtesy light breakfast “starter pack” that is self-catering and will be in your room on arrival. Guest access Matamata Country B&B is set on a hectare block of gardens, an orchard and paddocks. The guest room is filled with everything you will need during your stay including USB chargers, Netflix, Disney, Starlink unlimited wifi, a quality hair dryer, an electric blanket and other complimentary extras. There is a BBQ located in the private courtyard outside the room. Guest parking is close to the room with a well-lit walkway and a keybox safe near the entrance.
