A larger town is Comunanza, just 8km far where you may find detailed shops and a quarter market every saturday morning. Montefalcone Appennino is a perfect camp-base for lovely tours on Piceno Hills, discovering medieval villages, colourful landscapes and delicious gourmet, but a great start-point to discover the Sibillini Mounts Park as well. If you are experienced cyclists, you may then enjoy the long Sibillini Mountains Park's climbs and descents (Sassotetto, Forca di Presta, Prati di Ragnolo...), Piceno's gravel roads (Le Bore, San Ruffino, Garulle, Castelmanardo, Moresco...), or amazing trails and singletracks around the Mountains peaks (Fargno, Val d'Ambro, Scentelle, Val di Panico, Tre Santi...) for XC, AM and EN.
