It was completely renovated in 2010 and lovingly converted into a vacation home in the last few weeks. Other things to note TO THE VILLA: The old captain's villa was built in 1898 by a Dutch captain as a home for children of surviving relatives at sea. During the war years, it was converted into a forest recreation site for TB patients. In the 1960s to the 1990s it was operated as a hotel and since 1992 it is a small apartment building with 5 residential units.
