Il Sanco – Magical Lessinia – Anemone

The "anemone" room is a beautiful bright, spacious room, located on the mezzanine floor of the "Il sanco" holiday home, facing south, on clear days the view rests on the Emilian Apennines. The Contrada Zanco (940 meters above sea level) is surrounded by the pastures and forests of eastern Lessinia. It is a land of centuries-old culture for the cultivation of the forest, the meadow-pasture and for the use of stone. It is a magically intact territory, close to the Fossil Museum of Bolca and the paths of the Lessinia Park. The space "Il sanco" is located in a magical place, quiet, cool in summer and kissed by the sun during the winter, surrounded by nature, it enjoys a large green space all around. Since 2006, the small district has been inhabited by the owner, Lorenzo, and since 2022 the easternmost part of the building has been used to welcome all those who want to spend a few moments of tranquility, away from the worries and obligations of everyday life. The district consists of a single housing unit, largely renovated with historical-artistic conservation restoration works in an eco-sustainable key, conducted with environmentally friendly materials and techniques, to revive its primitive beauty and ensure a long life and full health of the wall structure. The central nucleus is the oldest which, together with the stable with the overlying teda (barn), dates back to the seventeenth century, The westernmost part of the building is now used as a holiday home and has three very bright and spacious bedrooms, all with a private adjacent bathroom. The first two are located on the mezzanine floor, to the south the "anemone" room and to the north the "gentian" room, with availability for each of a double bed or two single beds, a wardrobe and a desk with its accessories. Upstairs is the "peony" and "elleboro" room with a private bathroom. These are two adjoining and communicating rooms but at the same time also independent, with availability for each of a double bed or two single beds, a wardrobe and a desk with its accessories. All rooms are equipped with sheets, blankets and pillows. They are quiet and comfortable, with furnishings made by the owner to fit the room, complete with desk and chair. They are all non-smoking, equipped with free Wi-Fi and heated if necessary. Each room has its own private bathroom, complete with shower and hairdryer. Towel sets are provided with change availability (for a fee). The exclusive use of the bedroom-bathroom is guaranteed by a sliding door that divides it from the other common spaces. The property is equipped with a kitchen where you can eat breakfast, but also to prepare lunch and/or dinner, offering all the necessary supplies. Upstairs, in the attic, there is a glazed room overlooking the broadleaf and larch forest for reading, music and relaxation. The use of the kitchen is shared with other guests, as well as the relaxation room, the garden and all the spaces outside the house. Upon request, with advance notice, a breakfast based on local and mostly organic products is offered in the morning, consisting of coffee, milk (cow or oat), yogurt, juice, bread, butter, jam, local cheese or salami, eggs and seasonal fruit at the price of €9 per person. Guest access Guests can access their room and all areas shared with other guests: kitchen, relaxation area, outdoor garden. Other things to note The location of "Il sanco" allows lovers of walks to take advantage of the routes that wind through the area, or to reach (in a few minutes by car) the hiking trails of the Piccole Dolomiti Veronesi and Vicentine.
