The space About Home: - Alma Grove is a 3-bedroom pet-friendly private pool villa near Kashid beach in Alibaug. - This heritage-style private villa, located in the local town of Sarve near Kashid, was built by the Home Owners in 1999 as a nature retreat amidst the quaint beauty of Alibaug. - This private villa near Alibaug is 1.5 hours (54 km) away from Mandwa Ferry Terminal and 4 hours (138 km) away from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Layout of the home: - Enter this private villa through a porch and make your way to the spacious living room, dining area and 1 bedroom (with ensuite bathroom). - A flight of stairs leads you to the first floor of the home which has 2 bedrooms and a large verandah. All the bedrooms (with ensuite bathrooms) offer soothing forest views. What can you do here: - Enjoy the day in the pool and wind down gorging on scrumptious and healthy meals prepared by our in-house chef. - Engage in a round of board games with your loved ones or enjoy a quiet read in the living room accompanied by the soothing cool breeze. - Spend your nights huddled around the warm bonfire and cherish the feeling of togetherness. - You can explore local beaches such as Kashid beach (3 km), and Sani Beach (2 km) away. Explore nature trails from the backyard of the home leading to the forest. Guest access Guests will only be able to access common areas on the property such as the garden, etc. Guests are strictly prohibited from crossing into neighboring properties under any circumstances. We request our guests to respect the privacy and personal space of our neighbours. Other things to note Things You Need to Know: - The caretaker will overlook all your needs throughout the stay. The housekeeping and cleaning staff are available to maintain hygiene. - Room amenities include WiFi, a private closet, a balcony and an air conditioner. - 10 cars can be parked on the property free of additional charges. - Villa amenities include a TV, garden, swimming pool, indoor games like cards, monopoly, WiFi, barbecue and bonfire.  - In case of a power outage or fluctuations, generators can be switched on. However, power outages or fluctuations due to weather, regional restrictions, etc. are beyond our control. Hence, diesel charges for genset operation will need to be paid by the guests after 4 hours of usage, the prices for further usage will be INR 800 per hour. The genset needs to be switched off for 30 mins, after every two hours of usage, to avoid a breakdown. - Considering the unique location of the villa, Internet connectivity can get affected due to falling of trees, heavy rains or other causes - As the monsoon season approaches and the coastal winds blow, we wanted to take a moment to inform you about a possibility that comes with this beautiful weather: power outages. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. In anticipation of potential power interruptions, our diligent villa staff will be on standby to ensure your stay remains uninterrupted. Our reliable power backup system will kick in swiftly. To maintain the stability of the backup system and protect all our guests, we kindly request your cooperation in refraining from using certain high-power-consuming appliances such as air conditioners and geysers during these periods. House Rules: - Outside food is not allowed in the villa. - Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission. - Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay. - Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed. - We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. - Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm. - Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits. - Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities. - Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited. - The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times. - Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items. - As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports. - Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave. - In case of special occasions like wedding and pre wedding ceremonies, milestone celebrations and events, and similar such events that require the parts or entire estate, whether they require elaborate arrangements or not, are at the sole discretion and explicit permission of the management. These need to be informed at the time of booking, and additional venue charges, additional deposits and charges for time efforts and specialised skills needed for prior arrangements and post event cleanup will apply. - Security Deposit: ₹ 3000 per room
