Lillie Cottage/STR-FR-2024-11

A lake-front cottage with a wrap-around deck for people who love to swim, boat, fish, kayak, canoe, paddle board, pick blueberries, explore, enjoy birds and wildlife, or dream. This is a very private cottage on an acre plus of pine forest. There is a screened gazebo for an outdoor meal without insects or a good place to nap. Two new docks can accommodate multiple boats. There is a rowboat and a kayak for guests to use. Swimming is best in the deeper part of the channel or at a nearby park. The space The water comes from the lake with some purification. We use it for bathing and laundry. For cooking or drinking, bottled water is recommended. It can be purchased at the Foodland or fill water bottles at the Hardware store in Noelville, about 20 kilometers south on Hwy. 64. There are occasionally mice. We keep mice poison out in the kitchen and bathroom areas, so if you are bringing an animal, make sure to check that it has been put up high before allowing the pet inside. Mousetraps are under the kitchen sink. Guest access The cottage is located one mile down Harmony Point Road using the first right lane at the sign that says "Lillie Cottage. This cottage is only accessible by stairs, four to a deck at the parking side, and additional staircases on the lakeside. There is ample parking on the driveway and parking circle. Please do not park anywhere else. Other things to note When you check out, please don't leave trash outdoors. There is a recycle bin on the driveway deck and a container in the entry closet. Other trash can be placed in the metal can in the shed, near the laundry room. Please pull all curtains before leaving, lock windows and doors, leaving your keys in the box outside the door.
