The space This large 1-bedroom basement suite is located downstairs - accessed by 13 stairs - in my private home in the heart of St. John's. ▪︎Larger than normal living room, making it easy for 2 people to function independently. ▪︎Office area at the back of living room makes a great study or work space. ▪︎Bedroom has a great, DOUBLE bed, pillow-top mattress, double dresser, full closet and as many pillows and blankets as you want! ▪︎Very large kitchen fully equipped with all the necessities to make coffee, cook basic meals, or simply use the microwave to heat up left-overs. ▪︎ A pub-style dining set allows you to sit down and enjoy your meals, or simply use the large table to do a jigsaw puzzle! ▪︎A full size fridge & stove ▪︎Bathroom is equipped with both a shower and a full tub, so if a relaxing bath is your desire at day's end - enjoy!! . A washer and dryer are readily available for your use by simply coordinating times with me! Both located in the laundry room just outside your suite, it brings a whole new meaning to the term "laundromat"! Guests MUST provide their own laundry soap and wash in COLD water. Guest access The suite is accessed through the front door and down 13 stairs. The secure door to my living area on the main floor is separate and independent. We do, however, share the "front" door...but not an issue! You are welcome to enjoy my patio, complete with patio table and umbrella, when weather permits A great place for early morning coffee on those RARE days when we are blessed with sun! Other things to note PLEASE, to expedite approval of your request, make sure you include the following info in your message: 1. Where are you coming from.. 2. How many guests.. 3. What is your estimated time of arrival/ check-in.. 4. Will you have a vehicle.. Other general details: - Only "registered guests" are permitted to stay. Visitors are welcome, but no overnight guests. - This house was built in 1975 so the basement suite does reflect some of that era layout, so we have PRICED in consideration of this. - Because it is a basement suite, it is nice & cool in summer and warm and cozy in fall & winter. - The suite is equipped with 2 independent heat sources....oil and electric (reflection of age & upgrades). - During periods when the suite is not in use, we ensure it is open & airy at all times to prevent any dampness or musty odors. - All pictures are a 100% reflection of the suite!!! - Staying here is not complicated - we simply respect each other!!
