Villa Kulintang: A heaven in a tropical setting

You can enjoy an entire two floors-villa for yourself surrounded by a lush garden and tropical landscape. Enjoy also the plunge pool with incredible views of the forest and the sea. The space Villa Kulintang is a blend of rustic local Filipino architecture in harmony with the lush flora and fauna of its location with the addition of imaginative touches of European design. The main floor has high ceilings and panoramic windows with views of the forest and the dipping pool. The dining room located next to an open kitchen and bar. Discover also our secret open layout Balinese bathroom at the back of the villa. The main bedroom on the second floor has an open layout and panoramic windows overlooking the forest and Pilar Peninsula. The comfortable queen size bed has an original canopy headboard and rattan and a comfortable rattan chair, both made by local craftsmen. The 15 square meters bathroom is papered with a dramatic Roman forest scenery and has a luxurious Italian shower as well as two sinks. Guest access Set in Pilar & Donsol, Villa Kulintang offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a restaurant and access to a garden with a year-round outdoor pool. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen complete with a fridge and a stovetop. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental or a à la carte breakfast. Speaking English and Filipino at the reception, staff are always on hand to help. A sun terrace is available for guests to use at Villa Kulintang. Other things to note Villa Kulintang is located on the edge of Pilar Bay and accessible from Port of Pilar, a few minutes’ ride by banca, the traditional Filipino catamaran. Arrivals and departures are scheduled according to the tides, part of the experience of living according to nature’s rhythm. Distance from Legazpi/Daraga airport to Pilar: 50 minutes by car. For information, there are daily flights from Manila to Legazpi/Daraga with Philippines Airlines or Cebu Pacific (1 hour flight). For those travelling by bus, a public van near SM Legazpi can bring you to Pilar town. Please call upon arrival in the airport or 1 hour before arriving to the villa if you are using a private car so that our staff will be ready to wait for you to arrange the parking and accompany you in the port going to Villa Kulintang.
