Lyman - Waldo Emerson Inn

This is a light and airy king room on the second floor overlooking the front lawn and flower gardens. Decorated in a cottage style accented with an antique dresser and wardrobe. Named after Theodore Lyman who expanded his fortune, including this home, by marrying Sarah Emerson in 1776. The space This is a unique room as it has original King pine floors with some planks almost two feet wide. It also boasts original lead windows. This room is in the "new part of the inn" dating back to 1784. The age of the inn is evident in the room with it's slightly sloping ceiling. Guest access Guests have full access to all public areas of the inn, including parlors, kitchen and dining room. Other things to note There is a 6 lb hype allergenic Yorkshire Terrier that lives on site.
