Desirable Fern Valley Area, Quiet and Serene

Quiet and private, close to town, great sunset view among the trees. We fell in love with this place and hope you do too! We're new to Airbnb but have been hosts on other short-term rental sites for over 10 years and we're happy to say we receive excellent reviews from our wonderful guests. Riverside County STR Permit RVC-001612 The space In the very desirable Fern Valley area, the home is bright, sunny and open, and the perfect mountain getaway for a group of friends, one or two couples, or couples with children. Built in 2002, the home has all the modern conveniences (forced air heating, air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher, electric stove and oven) and every comfort you'd want in that getaway weekend. The two bedrooms have queen beds and their own bathroom with a shower. There is a washer/dryer as well. The bedrooms and living room are carpeted for a cozy warmth, and the kitchen, dining area and hallways are tiled. The huge deck is the perfect place to sit out and watch the wildlife and incredible sunsets. The road to the home as well as the driveway are wide and well-maintained. It's only 1.4 miles to the center of town, and even less to many beautiful hiking trails, from easy to moderate to strenuous levels of difficulty. We even discovered the home is about 50 yards from the popular and easy Ernie Maxwell Trail, which also runs to and from Humber Park. When we come up to Idyllwild we find our weekends last very long as time does seem to go slower when we're relaxing and simply enjoying the beauty of the area. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. For earlier or later times please ask me and we try to accommodate but it depends on the previous guest and housekeeping schedule. We do allow pets with a one-time $30 pet fee if you check with me ahead. Also, please do not leave more than two bags of trash. If you leave more we charge $50 for the cleaning lady to do it.
