Longterm: Bolton Mountain House With View & Wi-Fi

A beautiful home with fast Wi-Fi with Lake Champlain and Mountain views on the banks of Mill Brook, our modern home in the heart of the Green Mountains near hiking and ski trails. High on a hill this lovely house is clean, well maintained with 2 full baths, 3 double beds, (2 bedrooms 1 bed in the living room area), attractive kitchen & deck w/ spectacular views of Champlain Valley & Lake w/ breathtaking sunsets. A propane stove warms the living room on chilly fall /winter days. The space Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking pots and pans, plates, sliverware, cups and glasses, range and refrigerator. Bring food to cook; you can buy groceries in WATERBURY or RICHMOND, Vermont. A small piano is in the living room/office area. This house has hiking trails and snow shoeing out the back door. This home is near some of Vermont's most treasured hunting grounds and near the Ethan Allen Firing Range; (the sounds of hunting and target practice or drills are possible in this area). Mill Brook is a clear rushing stream with waterfalls on the property. Popular cool summer swimming holes are adjacent to the property. The Long Trail and Catamount Trail are accessible. Several maple sugar makers are nearby. Bolton Valley Ski Resort, Stowe and Sugarbush are all accessible; the small quaint town of Richmond with shops, bakery, restaurants and historic Round Church is 20 minutes down hill. It also has 2 restaurants, including one tavern. The Bolton Valley Ski Resort on the other side of the ridge has 3 restaurants for ski season; deli and weekend tavern in other seasons. The Sports Center at Bolton Valley Ski Resort (open June.-April, heated indoor pool, gym, hot tub, Nordic center) is open 11 months of the year and rents bicycles, nordic and backcountry ski equipment. Burlington is 24 miles away with the Lake Champlain Waterfront, sailing, restaurants, Church Street, Shelburne Museum and University of Vermont/UVM Hospital. Montreal lies just over 2 hours to the north. Other attractions in the vicinity: Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory, RR museum, Waterbury pubs, The Ponds event center. A perfect getaway or a base of operations for exploring the Green Mountain State. This is a modern home with fast Wi-Fi. Plenty of books and board games are in the living room. Bolton Mountain House is a place to unplug from devices if you like, recreate, play in the woods and streams, watch the wildlife, hike, explore, relax, recharge or work from a beautiful setting in the Vermont Green Mountains. Guest access Guests can access the first floor and second floor of the house. Other things to note Our Honda fit regularly negotiates the access road. However, a SUV with clearance, AWD/winter tires is recommended for the ~900 ft rough uphill road . Please do NOT FEED THE BEARS or birds and keep all food and waste inside the house.
