Woodland Bay Retreat is a lovingly renovated 1930s home nestled by the peaceful shores of Cygnet Bay. The inviting country style kitchen and the wood fired pizza oven are ready and waiting for you to cook up a storm or you can book yourself a chef to make you a meal curated for you and your occasion. There are a couple of options for relaxing at Woodland Bay Retreat, a living room off the kitchen/dining and a more formal sitting area and large dining room which can be closed off with french doors. This room has access directly onto the large wrap around verandah and takes in the glorious views over the bay. There are 3 large bedrooms in the house, one king bed plus 2 separate split king beds. The master suite is large with a walk-in-robe and en-suite which contains a tranquil and luxurious soaking bath with a view to die for. The other two bedrooms have built-ins and are they are serviced by a shared bathroom. Our beautiful, lush ornamental gardens are on over a hectare of pasture, with nothing to do but come and stay, relax and enjoy. Can’t miss our arcade room which includes 2 gaming machines and a tv for a playstation game or 2 ;) A fully equipped gym is located onsite. Our house runs on a solar panel system and septic tanks. Our products and amenities are organic locally sourced and refilled whenever needed. A wellness area is now ready to be enjoyed by our guests. This area includes a Sauna ,a hot tub,a cold plunge ,an outdoor shower and a fire pit sitting. Our guests get to use all these amenities free of charge. Our property has few spots to enjoy the Southern Lights on a clear night. If you are looking towards the Bay facing South (Bruny Island way) or you can drive 2 min down the road to the jetty to have a better look. Guest access Guests can get access to all parts of the property and enjoy the beautiful view . The house location is only 5 mins away from Cygnet Town. Other things to note The house has 1 king bed in the main bedroom and 2 king beds in the other bedrooms that can be split into 4 large single beds.
