Welcome to Casa de Los Altos. Perched atop nearly an acre on a secluded lot, our home showcases beautiful panoramic desert mountain views! We are a 4-minute drive to downtown Yucca Valley, 10-minute drive to Pioneertown, 20-minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park, and 45-minute drive to Palm Springs. Our newly renovated home features a hot tub, cowboy pool, outdoor deck with loungers and propane fire pit - and offers relaxation with modern conveniences, shopping, and restaurants close by. The space Recharge and relax at Casa de Los Altos - a two bedroom, one bathroom private oasis with breathtaking panoramic sunset views and a custom curated collection of local art, decor and furnishings. Plush King beds outfit each bedroom for a perfect night's sleep or midday nap. The primary bedroom has a sliding door letting you wake up to warm desert light and breathtaking mountain views. Central air and heat let you comfortably control the temperature in the home. And ceiling fans throughout the home circulate air for added comfort. The home features a beautifully remodeled bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials including new appliances, cooking pots, pans, coffee maker, and utensils. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV for indoor entertainment, there are also a variety of board games, cards, and puzzles to enjoy. Outside take in the views and balmy desert air on the patio, where you can grill dinner or enjoy a drink around the propane fire pit, and play a game of corn hole. Cool off in the cowboy pool on hot days, or soak in the hot tub at night under a blanket of stars. The deck lounge chairs are the perfect place to relax and take in the sunset or stargazing at night. Our pet friendly home has an additional fully fenced backyard area - a separate dedicated space for dogs to roam about safely. Guest access There is ample parking in the driveway that can accommodate multiple vehicles. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Supply Closet is not accessible to guests Hot Tub rules: The hot tub has no on or off switch. Just set the temperature with the plus or minus buttons on the touchpad of the spa. ( In case of an emergency, there is an emergency cutoff switch in the grey box next to the hot tub. Please only use this in emergencies!) To protect your own health and safety and the integrity of tub and linens, all guests must shower after using the hot tub. No pets of any kind or size in the hot tub. Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. The spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on the spa cover. IMPORTANT NOTE for HOT TUB and COWBOY POOL To protect your own health, safety, and the integrity of tub and linens, and to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities all guests must shower before and after using hot tub. • We kindly request all guests to rinse their feet, bodily oils, and lotions before entering the hot tub and pool area. Failure to do so may result in the accumulation of dirt, debris, and contaminants in the water, which can compromise the overall experience for all users. • No pets of any kind or size in hot tub and pool. • Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub and pool. • Please do not stand or sit on hot tub or pool cover. • Children must be supervised at all times. • Please heat the hot tub with cover on and avoid the urge to add hot water from the stove, it will damage the hot tub • Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight. Please be advised that if the condition of the hot tub and pool is left in poor conditions due to guests not rinsing their body and feet, an additional fee may be charged for excessive dirtiness. This fee will cover the cost of the necessary cleaning and maintenance required to restore the hot tub and pool to its optimal condition. Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times. Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration. No drinking in the hot tub, please. Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water. Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests. By adhering to this requirement, we can ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the benefits of our hot tub and pool facilities. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! POOL & SPA SERVICE - The hot tub and pool is serviced every Tuesday and Friday by our maintenance pool guy who will access the backyard and be in and out quickly. Usually guests don’t even notice him, but just a heads up in case you see him servicing the spa. * Please be aware that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited in this house. We prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests, as well as our neighbors. We kindly request that you respect this policy during your stay. Failure to do so, will result in a $500 fine for guests. ◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour ◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee ◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address
