On the 2nd floor there is a The space Old meets new. A generously renovated holiday house with extensive and modern facilities and 8 bedrooms in the historic Schwarzwald-Chalet Scheuermatthof. Ideal for celebrating (parties and / or terrace with barbecue), for seminars (group room with seating), for group, hiking or family holidays. Take advantage of our large natural stone terrace with a 70 cm stainless steel swivel grill for cosy sitting together and celebrating right next to the house. In bad weather you can use the party barn, the lounge or our TV room with large-screen TV or home cinema with HD beamer and 5.1 surround sound. The hiking trails to the Todtnau area and to the Feldberg begin directly in front of the house, at the edge of the forest. In winter you can strap on your skis and go on the slopes directly behind the house. To relax after an eventful day use our sauna directly in the house. Excursions in the surroundings: e.g. Feldberg, Titisee, Schluchsee, Freiburg, Basel Bed linen and towels have to be brought by yourself! Deposit 800 €, Electricity/heat 0,45 €/kWh , an electricity prepayment is requested via Airbnb / firewood free of charge / Tourist tax 2,90 €/night from 17 years, 1,00 € for children from 6 - 16 years. We will reimburse you for any visitor's tax AirBnB may have overcharged (shown as "occupancy taxes and fees"). Guest access The rental includes the ground floor with kitchen, living rooms, a bedroom, sauna, bathrooms, the first floor (bedrooms, dormitories, bathrooms) as well as the party barn with sleeping gallery. The holiday flat on the upper floor of the Scheuermatthof can be rented to other guests. Other things to note A deposit of €800 or alternatively an electricity prepayment will be requested via Airbnb. After the stay, electricity consumption will be billed according to meter reading at €0.45/kWh, any overpayment will be refunded. Up to 26 people can stay at the Scheuermatthof (the additional person price for more than 16 people is requested separately via Airbnb), as well as a further 8 people in the separately rentable holiday flat. Bed linen and towels have to be brought by yourself (see checklist for quantity & size!!!!). Basic toilet paper, dishwashing detergent etc. for a comfortable arrival is available. Please purchase any additional items yourself. You will receive a checklist with further information after your booking. Due to its design, the old Black Forest farm is rather sensitive. The main entrance, the ground floor and the upper floor have a low ceiling height typical of old Black Forest houses. The main entrance is shared with the guests of the apartment. plus visitor's tax / Black Forest guest card: The city of Todtnau charges a visitor's tax of 2,90 €/night from 17 years, 1,00 € for children from 6 - 16 years. This is not included in the overnight stay price! With the registration form for the visitor's tax you receive the Black Forest guest card with KONUS (free public transport). This offers discounts in the Black Forest, but without vouchers. It is NOT the Hochschwarzwaldcard (red card). The tourist tax and the electricity deposit (50 €/day during the heating period, otherwise 20 €/day) have to be paid in advance by AirBnb. The flat is to be left in a clean room, dishes washed and given away, the kitchen cleaned normally and the garbage (separated according to the local sorting rules) brought into the garage.
