Description
Secluded unique wooden log home on 107 acres. Hike for miles with lots of walking trails. Large deck with soothing creek water sound, and song birds. 30 minutes to, JMU, UVA, VMI, and W&L. 5 miles to historic downtown Staunton. The space Main Floor: Master Bedroom - King bed, dresser, nightstands with reading lamps with USB charging ports, TV, walk-in closet. Master Bathroom - Double vanity, Full Tile shower, large LED bathroom mirror. Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, dresser, reading lamps with USB charging ports. Bathroom - Full bathroom with bathtub combo. BASEMENT: Main Room - 1 Queen bed. Additional living area with smart TV, foosball table, games, and 2 couches (both convert to futon). Bedroom 3 - King bed, dresser. Bathroom - Full bathroom with full tile shower. OUTSIDE: Park style steel outdoor charcoal grill (please bring your charcoal and supplies and clean up after use). Firepit (please bring your own firewood!) with 4 Adirondack chairs (please don't drag chairs), and benches. Please note that the driveway is long gravel road. If there were to be snow in the winter months, 4-wheel drive might be needed. Guest access Airbnb is the second cabin on the left. Only the garage is inaccessible. We use it as storage and shop for maintenance. There are (outdoor only) cameras on the property. No unlisted guests, parties or events without prior approval. No pets allowed for guests. The road to the cabin is not paved, a long graveled road. I drive my Prius on it with no problems. But I wanted you to know. You will receive the entry code and Wi-Fi password via text automatically once you enter the property limits. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Other things to note After 6 guests, $50 per person a night. Violating no pets policy will be charged at $250 a night. Washer & Dryer available with minimum of 4 night stay. 🌿 Please Note: You're in Nature's Backyard! 🌿 Our home is nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and mountain region, which means you're likely to see some of our wild neighbors — including deer, turkeys, foxes, raccoons, and even the occasional bear. To help keep both guests and wildlife safe, we kindly ask that you: • Do not leave children outside unattended. • Keep vehicle doors locked at all times. • Avoid leaving food, trash, or scented items outdoors. • Never feed, approach, or attempt to touch any wildlife. We strive to maintain this space as a peaceful haven for both people and nature. Thank you for helping us respect and preserve the wild beauty that makes this area so special. You may also find bugs, snakes and critters. Brown marmorated stink bugs are proIlific in the fall and don't be surprised to see 8 legged friends, too. Oh, the thrills of country and cabin life!
