One of the few B&B's that welcome families with young children. The space Saratoga Room is on the main level. It offers a queen size bed with high end linens and full private bath. Coffee and Tea is offered 24 hours and a delicious breakfast in included each morning in the main dining room. The living room is a common area which provides games, cards and books and free cable TV. Free wifi is available throughout the property. Guests are welcome to use the main patio, pool and lakefront where there is plenty of seating and umbrellas. Guest are welcome to bring their own watercraft to use on our beautiful lake. Guest access There is a patio, pool area and over 300 feet of lake front with seating available to guests. During your stay The Inn on Great Sacandaga Lake is an 1810 farm house with much history and the owners are actively learning more. The home was built prior to the lake being formed in 1930 and was a very busy and successful farm. Rumors about a tunnel from the main farm house basement to the basement of the three story barn some locals believe has a connection to the Underground Railroad. Not proven, but research is still under way. The property owners, Patricia and Ray Maguire purchased the property in 2021 and within a year, transformed the home into a B&B. Patricia is a retired elementary school teacher who has always dreamed to open a bed and breakfast. Patricia and Ray have 5 children and 7 grandchildren and they are the main reason why they purchased this beautiful property so that at least twice each year the whole family can gather together. Other things to note Right outside this room, there is a mini fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, cup and saucers. Fresh ground coffee and tea always available.
