BACKHOUSE BIRDIE: Silverlake foothills home

Backhouse Birdie is located at the end of our garden walk and beyond our yard, making it perfect for our guests privacy. The yard itself is a garden oasis in the heart of Los Angeles. Equal distance from the center of Silver Lake AND Echo Park you can enjoy the most walkable neighborhoods in LA; walk to 2 parks with playgrounds, Echo Park Farmers market and Silver Lake Farmers market, with shops, cafe's, bars, and restaurants along the way. Downtown 15 min by car, beach 35 min by car. The space Our modern Backhouse is located at the end of our garden walk and beyond our yard, making it perfect for our guests privacy. The yard itself is bright, clean, and soothing, and doesn't make you feel like you are in the big city of Los Angeles. It has a statement Lemon Tree in the middle hung with lights for a stary night time mood and is a haven for squirrels, birds, hummingbirds, butterflies in the sunny daytime. Backhouse Birdie is a newly constructed house. And if you like to cook it has a well stocked kitchen with all your necessary utensils, cooking ware, bakeware, and accoutrements. We have a pack and play in the unit for anyone with babies or tots. Free Street Parking is easy to find in front of the house. We have Apple TV, with all major networks, Hulu, Netflix, any iTunes purchases will be deducted from your deposit. You will find an assortment of tea, coffee, instant cocoa, as well as the basic toiletries (shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, cotton rounds, cotton swabs, 1st aid kit, toothpaste, hairdryer). Guest access I have a super clean, newly landscaped, fully fenced in yard with gate code access. The picnic table and the yard are shared space for our guests. You have your own private balcony space. You are welcome to pick flowers and veggies from our large side vegetable garden! Other things to note If you know your estimate time of arrival please let us know so we can better accommodate you. (during the night especially) There is a Large Room with a Queen Bed below Backhouse Birdie that is also available for rent if you have a larger group. We also use this space to host our own guests.
