The condo is located west of Hwy 1... no busy street to cross. Bela Vida means beautiful life. This family favorite beach house will provide the perfect vacation for a quiet get away, or a fun packed adventure. Bela Vida has a spacious open living space filled with natural light and offers seating for family and friends to gather. The living room has a natural gas fireplace to warm up chilly beach evenings and early mornings. There is a sleeper sofa (queen) in the living room for additional guest sleeping. The open living space opens into a remodeled kitchen. The kitchen is convenient to the propane BBQ located in a lovely atrium. You certainly don't have to (you are on vacation!), but the kitchen and BBQ will tempt you to stay in. Just off the living room is the first bedroom. This street level bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs loft has a futon bed for additional sleeping, or another private area to grab a good book for quiet time. Through the loft area is the master ensuite. The master bedroom is a large ensuite with a king bed. The bathroom has an oversize spa tub, double vanity sink, and large shower. This bedroom offers privacy since its the only room on the second floor. There are 2 designated parking spots in the carport below the condo. Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. The fall is a great time to visit for apple picking and tasting. Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore. It's just south of San Luis Obispo (SLO was voted one of the top 5 happiest cities) and nearby dozens of vineyards. SLO has the largest farmers market in California every Thursday night of the year, and Avila Beach has a lovely one each Friday night of the summer. Great shopping is all around as well as yummy seafood and all types of restaurants for every taste. If you like antiques, Arroyo Grande will delight you. Kayaking in Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby. Or, you may want to just grab the beach wagon and beach gear and walk down to the beach and read a good book. It's known for its wineries and many beaches. The Monarch Butterfly Grove shelters monarch butterflies that migrate to Pismo State Beach in the cooler months. Atop a rugged bluff, Dinosaur Caves Park has trails with ocean views and a playground. Other green spaces include Chumash Park, with its wetlands, and Margo Dodd Park, on a bluff. The beach house is centrally located. and walkable, to the beach, historic Pismo Beach Pier, and dining. A car is not needed to get around in Pismo Beach.
