The COTTAGE is located in the village of VÝCHODNÁ, from where you can enjoy a view of the TATRA MOUNTAINS. It also has a convenient starting point for trips, mountain hikes and bike tours. The village is in the middle between the cities of LIPTOVSKÝ MIKULÁŠ (25 km) and POPRAD (30 km). I recommend visiting the nearby thermal swimming pools open all year round, such as TATRALANDIA, BEŠEŇOVÁ, AQUACITY POPRAD... In winter, you can ski in PARK SNOW ŠTRBSKÉ PLESO, TATRANSKÁ LOMNICA or JASNÁ... The COTTAGE is open year-round, spacious (110 square meters - m2), with 4 bedrooms, (5+2+2+5 beds), 4 bathrooms, a playroom and a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining room. There is a WIFI connection. All rooms have LED TV, in the kitchen ANDROID LED TV (30 Slovak and Czech programs). ROOMS: - CH 1/4 (21.5 m2) on the ground floor: 1 double bed, 2 single beds, possibility of 1 extra bed on a folding chair, chelectric kettle, sink; bathroom (3.5 m2): shower, toilet. - CH 2/2 (10 m2) on the ground floor: 1 double bed; kettle, sink; bathroom (3 m2) with access from the corridor: bathtub and toilet. - CH 3 The kitchenette (20.5 m2) in the attic equipped: gas stove, electric oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, drip coffee maker, blender, refrigerator, dishwasher, dining area for 14 people, SMART TV with home cinema and (DISNEY+, MAX, NETFLIX, SKYSHOWTIME, YOUTUBE). - CH 4/2 (12 m2) in the attic: 1 double bed; bathroom (4 m2): shower, toilet. - CH 5/5 (20 m2) in the attic: 1 double bed, 2 single beds, possibility of 1 extra bed on a folding chair; bathroom (5.5 m2): corner bathtub, toilet. - Game room (17.5 m2) in the attic: TABLE FOOTBALL, BILIARDS with an attachment for air hockey and table tennis, toys and board games, four chairs, sink. One HAIRDRYER is in the building. You can use the LOUNDRY ROOM (in my house) with washing machine and a dryer for free. You can park your cars on the fenced lot next to the cottage. Maximum comfort during your stay will be completed by the STOVE-HEATED OUTDOOR BATHTUB with a diameter of 200 cm (necessary to notify at least a day in advance), it is not included in the price of accommodation. There is a COVERED FIREPLACE in the garden behind the cottage, which can also be used during rainy or winter days. You can toast, grill on the GRILL (wood is free, you need to get charcoal) or prepare a kettle goulash in our kettle. In the garden, you can enjoy seasonal fruit, tea or lemonade made from fresh mint that you pick yourself. The village is also known for its FARM VÝCHODNÁ (1 km). You can book a tour, buy their herbal teas, delicious cheeses and other various delicacies. You can RIDE A HORSE, where everyone, even a complete non-rider, can enjoy the ride.   Cottage is not only accommodation, but also a GALLERY OF PAINTINGS by my sister Mariana Sabaková (*1978). She inherited her artistic talent from our grandfather Martin Sabaka (*1925 +2016). He was a skilled shoemaker, a railway worker and, first of all, he left behind many interesting works as an Art Brut artist. You can see the STATION WORLD MARTIN SABAKA exhibition in the hall at the mentioned Farm Východná. In the system of ponds FISH GENE FUND CENTER VÝCHODNÁ (4 km) you can buy fresh fish for consumption or catch them yourself. It is located near the Východná railway station. It is interesting that the village has the largest cadastre in Slovakia (19,350 ha) and part of the cadastre is also the symbol of Slovakia KRIVÁŇ (2494 m above sea level), after which the accommodation is named. The Cottage is available exclusively for guests. The building has a separate entrance. Guests can contact me in person, by phone, SMS or email. Chalupa pod Kriváňom sa nachádza v idylickej dedinke Východná v okrese Liptovský Mikuláš, ktorá je synonymom impozantného folklórneho festivalu. Zároveň v nej sídli ekologická farma s ponukou syrových dobrôt, liečivých byliniek a prechádzok na koni. Blízke okolie sa len tak hemží zaujímavosťami, či už spomenieme Važeckú jaskyňu, Hybickú tiesňavu alebo vodnú elektráreň Čierny Váh. Turistov lákajú Západné a Vysoké Tatry, kým lyžiari si prídu na svoje v strediskách vo Važci, v Jasnej a pri Štrbskom plese. Relax ponúka termálne kúpalisko v Liptovskom Jáne, zatiaľčo regionálnu históriu odhaľuje Múzeum liptovskej dediny v Pribyline. Obľúbená je tiež cykloturistika, ktorá vás privedie napríklad do Liptovského Hrádku s múzeom a arborétom.
