Other things to note - All TV’s are either a smart TV or have Roku sticks to login to your personal accounts for easy watching. - After Thanksgiving, all outdoor deck furniture, fireplaces, and the grill are put away for the winter. - Wood fires are no longer permitted for safety. - Easy keypad self-check-in for all guests. - We keep our check-out instructions to a minimum. - Pets are not allowed. - Minimum booking age 21 During the winter - Northern Michigan winters require preparation as our driveway is steep! From November through May, we highly recommend winter tires but please bring, at a minimum, all-wheel-drive vehicles with good, not worn, all-season or all terrain tires to get up and down safely! - There is a shop right next to our home that is not our property. Previous guests have parked their cars there after not being able to get up the driveway. This is not a good solution as they have the right to have you towed if you are illegally parked there. - Please don't bring trailers in the winter as they likely won't make it up the driveway. Essentials - We provide travel size Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Lotion - Hair Dryers and make-up towels - A handful of laundry pods and dishwasher detergent, and a good start of paper towel and toilet paper. You may need to buy more depending on your length of stay. THANK YOU from our family to yours. We are a veteran owned, husband and wife hosting team that knows how special time together is, so we put our best effort forward each day for those staying with us.
