Featuring uninterrupted views spanning from the Pacific Ocean to the Glass House Mountains and beyond. If you are a lover of stunning sunsets, then long afternoons spent relaxing on site are a must. The space Whether you're travelling with a loved one, family or friends you will find everything you need for a homely and comfortable stay. Accommodating 4 guests, the cottage features a modern living room with gas fireplace and large TV, Wi-Fi, a well equipped kitchen, a charming bathroom with an extra large tub for soaking in, 2 intimate bedrooms and fully ducted air-conditioning/heating. Outdoors you can relax on the deck and front patio area, explore the property to find the perfect picnic spot or cosy up by the fire pit. Set on 6 acres of lush grazing pastures, you will be captivated by the natural beauty and surrounds of the property. Here, photographers and photography enthusiasts will find the perfect backdrop for capturing memories. Being conveniently located just a short distance from many Sunshine Coast Hinterland wedding venues, the property lends itself perfectly to pre and post wedding photo shoots as well as couples and family shoots. If you are intending on having a photographer enter the property during your stay, please communicate this in your initial booking request. With charming Hinterland towns, wedding venues, natural wonders and tourist attractions all located nearby, Burgess Cottage is the perfect place to base yourself for a weekend getaway or extended stay. Strictly no ceremonies, events or parties. Guest access You will have full access to the guesthouse and grounds. Explore the property but please take care as you wander. The property is steep in places and can be muddy underfoot after rain. Other things to note We are all for family getaways, though if you are travelling with young children please consider the following: we have stairs to navigate and a low deck without balustrade that allows for uninterrupted views. There is also a small dam on site that the cattle use as their water supply. From time to time, part of the property may be booked for photography. Photographers will not have access to the cottage, parking at the cottage or access to the fenced cottage grounds. We will notify you upon receiving a photography booking. Photographic shoots will be limited to a maximum of 1 hour per day. Please contact us if you need anything clarified. We have a minimum stay of 2 nights however if you are looking for 1 night only, please get in touch with us and we will endeavour to accommodate you. As much as we want you to enjoy your experience at Burgess Cottage, it is important to note that Bald Knob is a small rural community and our property is set up for rest and relaxation.
