It is completely detach from the main house and has its own entry porch and Street front balcony. The Loft offers 1 Queen size bed. You will have access to the entire loft. You have your own private stairs leading up from the street. You also have your front porch deck as well as a separate Street front deck. The shared courtyard space between the garage and the cottage is a great space for relaxing or cooking on the charcoal grill provided. We are on call for you anytime during your stay. We do ask that you text or call when you have gained access to the property. We like to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. We also have many recommendations and suggestions to maximize your visit. Please feel free to ask! We are located in the heart of historic downtown Apalachicola. You’re just steps away from many of the working fishing piers and all of the restaurants! There are shops, galleries, museums, churches, and historic homes and pubs all within walking distance. Apalachicola is a golf cart community and the golf cart rental is just around the corner. There is also a bicycle rental just a couple of blocks away. You only need your car to possibly head over the bridges to the beautiful white sandy beaches of St. George Island! check in after 4 p.m. and Check out is by 10:00 AM. Check out is easy and instructions are on the inside of the front door. PET POLICY Sorry but no cats, no exceptions! Pet fee’s of $100 per pet must be paid in advance. There is a limit on # of pets. If you are checking in with a four-legged family member you are responsible for cleaning up their waste and disposing of waste in the trash receptacles on Commerce Street. Pets are not permitted on any furniture including beds. They are not to be left alone for extended periods of time. Pets are not allowed in the landscaping around the Inn. Barking dogs that are disturbing other guests will be asked to leave. Pets must be leashed in Apalachicola and while on the grounds of the Blue Moon. By virtue of making a reservation for your pet you are accepting full responsibility for your pet’s behavior. Should your pet cause any damage or harm to the Blue Moon Inn, it’s guests or its employees you agree to pay all medical, legal and property damage caused by your pet and hold harmless the Blue Moon Inn. Owners of the Blue Moon reserve the right to remove the Guest and Pet from the property without refund.
