Description
If you'd like to unplug & spend time on a Kansas Farm, this place is for you! The original 100 year old farmhouse has been modernized to feel cozy, yet still has its original charm. There is plenty of land to enjoy a walk, play games, star gaze, or start the firepit in our quaint tree grove. Although located *RIGHT ON* 75 hwy, the trees offer some seclusion from the highway. Very convenient for visiting the local lakes, traveling through, or just wanting to get out of the city. The space WALKING TRAIL: There is a walking path that you can take around the property which will take you through the walnut trees, cedar trees, and down the farmstead road which includes the views of farmland and a couple old barns. This is still an operating farm so please stay within mowed areas or directly on the path of the trail map (which we provide upon your arrival). CAMPFIRE/PICNIC: The walnut tree grove, nestled near the house, comes with a fire pit and log benches for your s'mores and memorable campfire adventures! There is a stack of firewood in the garage you are welcome to use. We also have patio lights hanging from all the trees--which create a beautiful ambiance after the sun goes down--that can be plugged in on the light pole near the garage. GRILLING: We have a charcoal grill located in the garage. Bring your charcoal and lighter fluid and get grilling! Guest access The area you are renting is the house, garage, tree grove and parking area directly west of the tree grove. Any access beyond this boundary is only allowed if you stay on the marked walking trial or mowed areas. Other things to note 1. We do not have Wi-fi and only provide a TV and DVD Player . . . on purpose. Plan to come and enjoy the outdoors, cozy up with a good book, or play some good ol' fashioned games! 2. We do not allow pets inside the farmhouse. We love our pets and we know you adore yours too, but we are firm on our "No pets inside" policy.
