Built in the 1890s, the stately stone building (recently refurbished) is one the most iconic properties of the region. Awaiting you is the perfect countryside retreat for up to 12 people. Situated within the picturesque grounds of the Koonowla Wines property, the house overlooks the vineyards and is ideally situated to explore the cellar doors and historic landmarks of the area. The space You will feel at home as soon as you walk in, with picture windows and French doors framing the beautiful garden views. The open plan kitchen is an entertainer's delight with ample bench space, stovetop and oven, large island bench and connection to the grand living/dining area. A comfortable loungeroom features a large fireplace - perfect for those cooler evenings. There are 5 Queen size bedrooms, two with sleep-outs offering additional beds. Two of the bedrooms, including the main have ensuites. The manicured lawns and lovely gardens wrap around the property with stunning views to the vineyard and ample space to breathe in that fresh country air. The outdoor pool (not heated) is at your disposal on those warm sunny days. Guest access You will have full access to the house and surrounding garden. Other things to note The homestead is within a winery estate so on weekends from 10.30 - 4.30 there may be cellar door guests in the separate cellar area set approximately 60m away from the house. Privacy is ensured.
