The space Our 3300 sq ft 4 bedroom, 4 bath home offers abundant natural light, multiple furnished outdoor spaces, mid-century modern décor, and ample open space for the family to gather while still allowing for privacy when needed. Outdoor Living The wrap-around balcony overlooks Mueller Lake Park and a restored hangar from Austin's old airport. Seating for four is available up here along with two chaise lounges for relaxing in the breezy covered space. Directly below the balcony is a wrap-around front porch with two seating areas. Just off the kitchen two more outdoor spaces are available. The first is known as the rose garden. While it gets warm in the afternoon sun, this spot is perfect for a weekend breakfast for four or you morning coffee or tea. Children especially love the next outdoor area – the secret garden. Hidden among the blackberry and jessamine are two bistro tables and seating for four. Even on the warmest days, this area remains cool late into the afternoon. Speaking of shade, the final outdoor space includes shade sails and is blocked from western exposure. The backyard is turf and includes seating for four by the outdoor kitchen and grill. Refresh with a cold water or beverage from the refrigerator while someone else grills and the kids play in the playhouse. Bedrooms Main Retreat This inviting first floor room was professionally decorated and is magazine ready. It’s furthest from the street and separate from the remaining bedrooms for maximum privacy. The ensuite bath includes two sinks/vanities, dual head shower, and large jetted tub. Bedroom 2 The first upstairs bedroom is perfect for young children and includes a twin bed and a twin trundle. A bathroom is available in the hall just outside of this bedroom. Bedroom 3 This bedroom includes a bunk bed and a trundle and has direct access to a Jack and Jill bathroom with double sinks. Bedroom 4 This bedroom also includes a twin bed with a trundle and shares access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. This bedroom also includes a desk and a small TV with a Roku. Office The home office includes two workspaces with upgraded leather chairs and an extra monitor. Access to a printer is also available. A comfortable chair with ottoman sits in the corner in case you want to work in a more relaxed setting. In the other corner, a Peloton is available. Just off the office and opening to the hall is the 4th full bathroom. Game Room(s) Upstairs, a game room that opens to the balcony includes plenty of toys for Ages 4-10 including a doll house made in 1985. A large TV with major streaming services is available here. A children’s worktable is available here with 4 chairs and art supplies galore. Downstairs, children also can read or play games in the reading nook under the stairs. Kitchen/Dining The kitchen is the focal point for the entire home. Enjoy Nespresso every morning and tea in the afternoon. All of the kitchen equipment you might need is available for you including spices and baking supplies. The kitchen table easily seats 10 and a bar area seats another four. Internet A strong Wifi mesh network is available throughout the house and in the outdoor areas. Guest access The entire home except for master closet and detached garage. A wardrobe is available for hanging clothes.
