The space Hilton Head Beach and Tennis is a beachfront resort on Hilton Head Island. Our condo is located in the building closest to the beach with access to the front door from the outside (as opposed to inside the hallways of the building). The walk to the beach is literally 2 minutes. Even the first-floor condos like ours are elevated from the ground a bit, so there are about 7 steps to get to the first-floor level. There is also a ramp entrance. From our door to when your toes hit the sand is just two minutes! What most vacationers are surprised to learn once they arrive is that each villa is privately owned; a unique resort indeed! Unlike a hotel resort, each condo has its own flair, decor, and vibe, depending on the owner! We are happy to offer our home to you and want you to have a memorable vacation. We'll provide you with all the amenities you'd expect to find and are used to at home. The condo is 540 sq ft. Take note of our security team happily manning the front gate. They also ride the resort throughout the night keeping a watchful eye. FOOD DELIVERIES: If you happen to order takeout or insta cart, have the delivery person text you on arrival so that you can meet them in the parking area prior to the front gate. Security will allow food deliveries into the resort, however, there is a $5 food delivery charge to the driver IF he is without a company/business annual gate pass. May be easier to ask who you are ordering from if they have a gate pass and clarify the rule during your order. The pool and beach restaurant/bar is a great place to spend the day with events throughout the week like swim-up movies at night with popcorn and pizza, to pool games on Tuesdays. You'll have plenty of downtime at the pool too, and if the beach is what you prefer, it's steps from the pool! Bike rentals are available right inside the resort, opposite the security gate. You MUST RESERVE ONLINE. (bikestand dot rentals) There is no payment accepted at the rental hut. Visit hhibeachandtennis dot com/bike-rentals/ for more information. You can also rent umbrellas, chairs, etc. here. There are beach chairs in our condo, located in the first closet for your use, as well as a few cooler bags, little drink table, beach buggy, some floats, pickle ball paddles, tennis rackets and balls. etc. Kindly brush the sand off before bringing them back into the house (additional clean fees may be charged when unnecessary sand is found). There is also a shoe tray by the front door and a hand broom to help with the sand. There is a fishing lake where you can spot many turtles, they'll even swim up to you. There's fresh water and salt water pole in the master closet for your use. You can find a couple of hooks and lures in the beach closet, but Walmart is a 5-minute drive if you need to stock up. Be aware of your surroundings, although lazy and on the smaller side, there are alligators that frequent the lakes and ponds in the resort. The last time I saw one, he was hanging with the turtles! Please don’t feed the water animals. Peek for the gator who sometimes suns himself by the water fountain at the end of our lot. Fitness....there is a one-time refundable deposit of $20 for the Fitness Center door pass. You can obtain this at the front desk. I also offer you ours to use, located inside the blue leather welcome book in the condo, however, if it is lost, you will be charged a non-refundable $50 fee. Laundry? Sure! A carry along hamper is in the master closet. The facility is on the first floor of the B building, through the double doors, across from the elevator at the end on your left. The machines are digital and utilize a money card ($3. per wash or dry). You can load up a money card (one will be left in the unit for you) at the kiosk built into the wall next to Gators in the Convention Center. TIP: If you are using a debit card as payment to load the card, choose CREDIT, otherwise it doesn't go through. LIGHTS OUT for the SEA TURTLES! May through October, Hilton Head asks that you keep the beaches free of white lights. Red or Blue flashlights are recommended and fun for nighttime walks, and the kids love them too. This keeps those little baby sea turtles moving towards the reflection of the moonlight on the ocean. Artificial lighting disorients them and they can easily lose their way. If there is anything you need during your stay and you don't find it, feel free to ask. We have boots on the ground and will try and accommodate your needs as quickly as possible. Most importantly, have fun! THINGS TO NOTE: -We are on the first floor of the Ocean Villa B building, there are 7 steps to the first floor and there is also a ramp for wheelchairs, luggage carts, etc. -Pool Hours are 9am - 9pm 365 days a year -There are two restaurants, a beach bar, ice cream stand, and coffee grab and go on site typically May - October. -Resort amenities include: 2 Outdoor pools 10 hardcourt pickle and tennis courts Playground and climbing structures 3 BBQ picnic areas / charcoal grills Basketball and handball court Bike rentals on premise (must reserve online) Beach gear rentals on remise There are family game nights by the pool, hair braiding, karaoke, magicians, visits from the Discovery Museum, and more! -Our resort is a gated, security-on-premise community -This resort does not allow pets -This resort does not allow E-Bikes -Guests need to be 21 to book and stay -Ocean Villas are approximately 540 sq ft and parties with more than 2-3 adults are encouraged to book a different space a the resort. -Quiet time is 10pm-8am -The resort does not allow towels or anything to be hung over balcony railings. Guest access As a guest, you will have complete access to the resort, the pool, and the amenities on the date of your check-in at any time, however, you will not be able to check in to the condo until 4 pm. The only exception would be if it were pre-determined and approved. Our cleaning crew has a small window of time between guests to prepare it for you and we want it to be perfect. You can certainly utilize the spacious restrooms to change, etc., located in the Convention center, right next to Coconuts. Upon arrival, you will park in front of the convention center or across in the parking lot. Visit the front desk where you will obtain your resort pass which must be displayed on your dash at all times. Once in the resort, you are free to park anywhere. Should you arrive after 10 pm, your pass will be waiting for you at the security gate. Other things to note One resort pass per vehicle is built into your booking. Should your party require additional vehicles on property, please let us know as early as possible prior to your stay so that we may call in any additional passes. Additional vehicle resort passes needed will be charged a $40 resort pass fee via this app. You must be 21 to book. Thank you. Each guest is provided 2 bath towels, a wash cloth and hand towel for their stay. Kitchen towels and bath mat are also provided, however, will not be restocked during your stay. There are laundry facilities in the building and you can purchase a laundry card for the digital machines right in the laundry room. There are certain resort rules we'd like to inform you of... * No hanging towels, bathing suits, etc. over the balcony railings. * No shoes in the hallways. * No E-Bikes / Golf Carts / ATV’s / or other recreational vehicles * Quiet time is from 11 pm - 7 am. And lastly, our personal rule is NO SMOKING or vaping cigarettes or marijuana IN the condo OR on the balcony (Note: marijuana is illegal in SC and Security enforces this law with the local authorities). If found doing so, you will be immediately asked to leave without refund. Smoking is allowed outside. Thank you for obiding by these few simple rules.
