Our unique 4.5-acre waterfront property offers three private short-term rentals, the Blue Heron guesthouse, Green Heron cottage, and the Driftwood Lodge with each designed for ultimate relaxation and privacy. Unlike typical lake homes, our rentals are thoughtfully spaced, ensuring your own secluded escape. Both the Blue and Green Herons and the Driftwood Lodge boast their own fire pits, hammocks, and patios. Driftwood Lodge has its own amenities (see its listing). Guests share a pier, boat ramp, and boathouse, plus dedicated beach area for each property. The Green Heron, a newly built (2023) 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage, sits atop our property, offering stunning lake views from its open-concept living space. Enjoy private outdoor living with a back patio, grill, outdoor dining, and a cozy fire pit. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, and both of the guest rooms each has their own comfortable king-size beds, plus a fold-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. Need less space or more beds? Check out our nearby Blue Heron, a 2-bedroom, 1-bath guesthouse just 30 yards away, offering the same great amenities and serene surroundings. The Driftwood Lodge is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath house with its own amenities and separate dock. You can rent the Blue Heron, Green Heron and Driftwood Lodge individually or together for larger gatherings. Rain or shine, you'll find plenty to do. Enjoy YouTube TV, and free Wi-Fi, or gather for board and card games. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and the dining room seats eight. Unwind in the spacious living room with fantastic water views, or grill and dine outdoors under a covered patio, also with an awesome lake view. The outdoor space is truly the highlight of the Green Heron. Fish, watch sunsets from the long shared pier with a gazebo, or tie up your water toys at the floating dock. Launch your boat directly from our on-site ramp. Relax on the shared sandy beach with a designated swimming area, or lounge in a hammock with a good book. End your day by the fire pit, making s'mores and memories. The Green Heron is your perfect lake retreat! Guest access While staying at the Green Heron Cottage, guests are able to access our pier, and boat ramp. A floating dock and pier are also available for your use so bring your fishing pole or we have some for you to use, just need your Alabama or Georgia fishing license. Available for your free use are several kayaks including tandem kayaks, paddle boat, paddle board and various sizes of life vests. Only the specific guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises without prior approval from the host. You also accept all risk from engaging in these activities while on drugs, alcohol, pregnant or using medication. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur.
