Houffalize is a well-known tourist town and is known as the mountain bike capital. There is a bike and mountain bike hire shop just a few metres from the gîte. There are many signposted walks in the area. Go to the tourist office to obtain a walking map or to get advice on what not to miss. There are many activities to discover: Houtopia (recreational centre for children with an outdoor playground), swimming pool and wellness centre in Vayamundo, the Achouffe Brewery at 7km, ...) For nature lovers, don't miss a visit to the Nisramont lake or a trip in winter to the Fraiture hut. On foot or on skis, everything is possible! Important note: you must bring your own bed linen and towels to the gîte.
