Are you looking for a special kind of break and want to recharge your batteries? Then you have come to the right place! In our newly renovated, newly and lovingly furnished house Harzcolor in the middle of the old town of Wernigerode in the fall of 2022, we would like to offer you an unforgettable vacation experience that you will remember for a long time. A beautiful half-timbered house with over 100 years of tradition awaits you in a historic district. Up to 5 people can be accommodated comfortably on 110 square meters, spread over 3 floors, which are reached via 2 wooden staircases. An extra bed for up to 8 people is possible on request. On the lower floor is the first, very spacious bedroom with a baby crib, large double bed and high-quality mattresses for a good night's sleep. You will also find the first bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet as well as a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The rear exit leads to a small, cozy courtyard with a feel-good sitting area. Your personal equipment (bicycles, skis, etc.) can be safely and dryly stored here in the lockable shed. The first staircase leads to the middle floor of the large living and dining area, which is very comfortably furnished in the idyllic Harz style. Right next door is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Immediately behind it, in a small separate room of the annex, you will find another bathroom with shower and toilet. Back in the main house, you can access the attic via another staircase. There you will find the second bedroom with a large double bed and a pull-out bed. After an eventful day, the children will also find a perfect retreat here. Our house Harzcolor is the ideal, central starting point with direct connection to the Harz National Park. Are you planning a sporting activity? Want to immerse yourself in history? Would you like to experience cultural diversity? Then this is the place for you! After a 3-minute walk, you are already in front of the historic town hall of Wernigerode (according to many travel guides "the most beautiful in Europe"). While the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway puffs to Brocken, you can relax and enjoy the great views of the Harz Mountains. The Brockenbahn train station can also be reached in a leisurely 3-minute walk. In the center, a variety of shopping opportunities and culinary restaurants invite you to stroll and enjoy. Not far from our "colorful city" of Wernigerode, there are excursions such as to the World Heritage city of Quedlinburg, the Kaiserpfalz in Goslar or a visit to the Hexentanzplatz in Thale. Directly in front of our vacation home, your car can be easily loaded and unloaded. Several parking garages can be found in the immediate vicinity.
