The house was built to ensure as much privacy as possible with bedrooms located on each side of the house and the living room/kitchen in the middle. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to prepare meals and store leftovers. There is a rustic handmade counter with barstools for eating or a covered patio with beautiful views and great opportunities for wildlife viewing. You will find a smart TV in the living area and both bedrooms so bring your favorite streaming codes for down time. Wifi is provided. Best of all you enter the home into a mud room, where you can drop off the days supplies. There is a stackable washer and dryer available for you as well. You will find games and books to enjoy while visiting. Each room in the house offers a beautiful view of the forest. Wake up in the morning to the sights and sounds of nature. Sunsets here can be spectacular, with vibrant colors filling the sky, a definite photo opportunity. Extra blankets are provided for cuddling on the couch or star gazing outside. Star gazing is phenomenal here in the country. We have tried to make the cabin homey and comfortable so your visit is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We are conveniently located 2 miles off Hwy 140. The road is paved until you get to the driveway and it is a well maintained gravel entrance. You will access Yosemite from Hwy 140, a beautiful scenic drive along the Merced River. In my opinion the most beautiful drive into Yosemite. You will have access to the whole house and 13 acres of beautiful oak and pine filled forest. Parking is very easy. We are so excited to share our beautiful cozy cabin and the amazing nature surrounding it. We live only a few miles away and are available for any needs or questions you may have during your visit. You can text or call us with questions, concerns or needs. It is important to us you have a wonderful visit. Cabin is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Parking is available right at the house. Driveway is gravel off the main road. Do be careful when parking as the well is centrally located on the driveway. YARTS is a bus service available into Yosemite at designated stops. Centrally located to Yosemite, Badger Pass, Bass Lake, Lake McClure and the beautiful Merced River Canyon.
