For dining, please note that the log end tables can double as stools for seating. FAQ: In order to fish or kayak one must obtain a NC fishing license. Fishing licenses are obtained at the Lake Lure Town Hall (2948 Memorial Hwy) Or Lake Lure Landing (2655 Memorial Hwy). Upon obtaining licensure, they will furnish you with locations to fish and/or drop in boats or kayaks. If you obtain a trout stamp on your license then you may fish additionally in the river behind the shoppes downtown at Chimney Rock Village or any river or streams.
