Fox Meadow farm is a 16 acre farm up on a hill in SE Ocala. 5 minutes from the Santos Bike trails and 5 minutes from the Florida Horse Park. HITS and WEC is 20 minutes....OBS is 15 min drive. We are next to the greenway national forest. 10-15 minutes from Publix and down town. We are surrounded by gardens, fruit trees, gigantic oaks and of course friendly horses of all sizes. (Mini to lg) also a cute hen house and guests are aloud to gather eggs. The space This apartment is along side the barn and attached. The only thing is lacks is a sofa/couch. The queen size bed has a new mattress on the firm side. 4 pillows on the bed and 3 extra pillows on the closet. Full kitchen with all cooking utensils. TV in kitchen area and a small TV on the wall in the bedroom. The property is gated and you will get gate code before you arrive. Internet throughout! We are a NO SMOKING property so if you are a smoker please do not book with us. Also the space is for 2 persons only. Also small doggie friendly but you must bring poo bags and clean up your doggie poo and put in dumpster. Guest access We have a washer/dryer inside the tack room inside the main barn that guests may use. Parking on the circular driveway. Other things to note We are a NO SMOKING property. This is very important to us so if you are a smoker please do not book. Guests may enjoy the farm which includes admiring the horses but not feeding them. Picking fruit from the fruit trees, gathering eggs from the chickens in the hen house. When the flowers are blooming guests may also pick a bouquet. Our horses may talk to each other or one of the miniature donkeys may get vocal but not at night while we all sleep. I may consider a small/toy doggie so please message me first. Dog friendly means that the guest is respectful and cleans up doggie poo with baggies. We have a dumpster . I also offer early check in or late check out if dates available. I’m just a text away!
