Description
Escape to Heathcote in our spacious property that accommodates up to 9 people. With comfortable furnishings, you'll feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen & dining area make it easy to enjoy meals together, & the large living area provides plenty of space to relax. Our property is located within walking distance of local cafes, restaurants, & shops. You can explore nearby attractions such as Pink Cliffs, Chapoutier & Heathcote Wineries, Palling Bros Brewery, & Chauncy restaurant. The space This 1970s house has recently undergone renovations to its kitchen, dining and living room and offers an open and stylish space for you to enjoy with your friends and family. Some vintage features remain with a small amount of 70's wallpaper and older carpets (in good condition) still in place. As of June '23 the bathroom has a new bath and splashback tiles, as well as new floor tiles and a updated vanity/basin. The shower remains older and is not large, but it's clean and functional. An outdoor entertaining area exists, including BBQ, table and chairs. This area is clean and useful but still needs updating/beautifying. With four bedrooms and plenty of living space, this home is an excellent choice for large groups or families and the separate bedroom area ensures a quiet, private area for a peaceful night's sleep. The home is exclusively for guests to enjoy with no hosts on site, though we live locally and can provide support if required. A 2nd bathroom/ensuite is currently closed/locked and is under renovation, to be completed soon. The backyard has an non-useable pool. Three separate companies have been engaged to remove it, but alas all of them failed to do so to date! It is regularly chlorinated. The yard is also lacking any beautification and the fence is of poor quality, making it a concern to leave an escape-artist dog in it unattended. The neighbours also have dogs. Other things to note A pool exists but isn't open for use whilst awaiting it's removal, which is proving difficult to get accomplished. This should not affect your stay in any detrimental way, as it is in the backyard and there is more than ample other space to enjoy. Works have not begun as yet anyway. Also, whilst I allow pets, the yard fencing is very poor and you cannot rely on it to contain an animal in your absence. I recommend only bringing pets if you are going to have them under your supervision the entire time.
