We have toys, books, and games including: board games, soccer nets, croquet, bocce, corn hole, kuub. We’ve turned the master bedroom into a kids room equipped with books and games and we have a pack n'play and highchair for our younger guests. Guests can control the central air, making for a comfortable stay any time of year. While we leave our belongings at the house, there’s always room in dressers and closets for guests. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome on approval. You will have the house to yourself during your stay. The barns and the basement are not open to guests. Our registration number with the Town of Milan is 2022:18 Our home is just 5 miles from the Taconic State Parkway, making for an easy trip to and from NYC, and 15 minutes from the Rhinecliff Amtrak station. There is car service available in the area for rides to/from Amtrak station. Make sure to call in advance. We are close to hikes, rivers, waterfalls, antiquing, and orchards and pick-your-own farms. Bard College, the Omega Institute, and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds are all a short drive away. After a day exploring, enjoy a relaxing evening back at the hose. The house has a wood burning stove and a stone fire pit on one patio and a Solo Stove on the other (designed for easy, smoke-free fires).
