Although the utopian experiment eventually failed, Home's history as a unique and idealistic community lives on. ⛽PROPANE USAGE: To maintain a continuous supply for propane-powered amenities, we've provide two full tanks. Guests are responsible for refilling or replacing empty tanks. Fees & Pricing ♦ Nightly rate includes 6 guests; extra guests are charged per person, per night and calculated at checkout (max 10 guests). An accurate guest count is required. Unauthorized guests will be charged $250 each per night. ♦ Stays beyond 15 nights require mid-stay cleans every two weeks. The cleaning fee for this listing is applicable for each mid-stay cleaning. ♦ Subject to a fee, we do our very best to fulfill early check-in and late check-out requests and accommodate based on our Housekeeping Team’s operational capacity. ♦ Well-trained dogs are welcome with a fee, so make sure to include your pet(s) on the reservation. Reminders ♦ Long-term stays are welcome, but bookings must be made in 28-day segments. ♦ This home is on a septic system. Please only flush the provided toilet paper. Do not dispose of feminine products, flushable wipes, food scraps, oils, or other items down the drains or toilets. Any damage to the septic system caused by improper use will be billed to the Guest. ♦ Please be mindful and do not rearrange furniture, and make sure to keep all electric heaters clear (minimum of three feet). ♦ If you are looking for beach access, we recommend Penrose State Park (7 minute drive). There is a public boat launch a couple blocks from the Property, but it is small and surrounded by private property on both sides, so it is not recommended. ♦ Please respect burn bans. ♦ The chimney flue is obstructed, so no fireplace usage. ♦ We know plans can change, so trip insurance is always recommended. Hot Tub Information ♦ To maintain a clean and pleasant spa environment, it is very important to shower before using the spa. The spa is not meant to break down lotions, deodorant, oils, perfumes, etc, as they will dirty the water very quickly and impact the filtration system. Please note that an additional fee may be charged for anything beyond standard cleaning. Guest access Guests will not have access to the garage. Other things to note ✅This home’s water source is a well and runs on septic. Running multiple water sources inside the home at one time will greatly reduce the water pressure. Please also be mindful and only flush septic-safe toilet paper. ✅Beach Access: Guests are responsible for reading all signs and staying on public property. No trespassing onto private property. ✅We do have an optional baby gate for safety purposes for little ones up to 2 years old. However, as children grow and develop new skills, they may learn to climb or open the gate. Every child is different, so we recommend not using it if you know that your little one can bypass it to ensure safety and peace of mind!
