The Barn at Wind River

Welcome to The Barn at Wind River, a full concept artists' and explorers' retreat that provides creative workspace for musicians, painters, writers, and travelers of all kinds. Located an hour and a half from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, our mission is to give travelers a quiet place to stay while visiting our beautiful state of Wyoming and our National Parks. We are a few miles from the truly western town of Dubois and the National Museum of Military Vehicles. Relax in our thoughtfully refurbished barn; complete with bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and other amenities to make your visit one of a kind. Guests can self-check-in using the lockbox at the front door. The code will be provided on the day of your arrival. The Hosts, Peter Gottfried and Kimberle Allen, will be on site living nearby in an authentic log cabin. The Barn at Wind River is set in the Wind River Valley of northwest Wyoming along the shores of the historic Wind River. 1 and 1/2 hours drive to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park. Hiking into the Wind River Mountains, horseback riding, and world class fly fishing is at your fingertips. The property is situated along approximately 300 feet of world class fly-fishing along the Wind River, or you can hire expert fly-fishing guides in Dubois for a once in a lifetime experience.
