This mid century modern home with floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining room creates a spectacular panoramic view. The open floor plan allows for families to gather in the Kitchen, Living and Dining rooms with ample space and also enjoy the screened in porch and huge open deck area. Our home has a fireplace and TV on the first floor and is only one block to Lake Michigan beach. Spend the day relaxing at the beach then come back for dinner and relax by the outdoor fire pit. Our house sits on a dune and has an amazing views of the neighborhood and in the winter we can see the lake. In the summer you can walk down the dune to the lake and at any time during the year you can hear the waves crashing on the shore when you walk outside. We love sitting in the big open living room and kitchen and looking at the trees through the huge windows. At night it gets really dark and the sky fills with stars. We love going to the beach at night, laying on a blanket in the summer and staring at the stars. There are millions in the sky! The entire home is available to our guests. I am available through the Airbnb app and by phone at all times. Our home is one block to the beach. It’s about a ten minute ride to New Buffalo and the harbor country beach towns. We love walking on the beach both during the day and at night, and walking through the peaceful neighborhood and seeing all the deer and occasional fox. There are so many different birds to see too and they are beautiful when they sing! We love going to the whistle stop on red arrow highway for a freshly baked cherry or apple pie, hitting the antique stores and having lunch or dinner at Greenbush brewery in Harbert or Journeymen distillery in Three Oaks. In the summer picking blueberries at Billy’s blueberry farm and going to the art market in Michigan City is super fun! Walk to the beach and drive to the numerous beach towns and restaurants. Amtrak from Chicago stops in New Buffalo. In order to rent our home, The Village of Michiana requires that all guests document who will be at the home as well as acknowledge the Village of Michiana rules and regulations.
