The well-equipped kitchen, located on the lower floor, boasts full range and oven, dishwasher, and brand new fridge. The kitchen was recently renovated in October 2021 with stone countertops and a butcher block island, making it the perfect place to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen window offers a breathtaking view of Paonia and the surrounding mesas, providing the perfect backdrop while you cook and dine. And, with the full professional BBQ grill, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue in the open air. For your comfort, both bathrooms in the Tower are equipped with in-floor heating, and the small bathroom downstairs also features heated tile floors, a sink, and washer/dryer. The dining area boasts a round antique walnut table with three wooden chairs and two south-facing windows, which provide plenty of natural light. The queen sofa sleeper couch, brand new as of October 21, 2022, is positioned to face the TV on the lower floor, offering a convenient separation between dining and relaxing spaces. The upstairs open floor plan features a king-sized master bed, twin sleeper sofa, private deck, two work spaces, a 50-inch TV, and a full bathroom with shower and oversized bathtub. Hosted by the same team that brought Kale's Cottage Airbnb to Paonia, guests can expect top-notch service and amenities. Guests have access to the entire Tower, parking area, and deck spaces. During the winter months, passing snow showers on the Grand Mesa can be viewed from the kitchen window, and during the growing season, fruit trees and large cottonwoods offer added privacy and shade. Guest access Guests have access to the entire Tower, parking area and deck spaces. There is a laundry room on the outdoor deck that is shared with our employees. Other things to note Laura's Tower is a truly unique house with very special views of the river valley that is Paonia and the surrounding mountains. In the winter months, passing snow showers on the Grand Mesa north of town can be viewed from the downstairs kitchen window. During the abundant growing season, fruit trees and large cottonwoods shade and bring added privacy to Tower guests. This is a very prime location for savoring the explosion of both spring growth and the golden and red fall colors that makes Paonia and Western Colorado so special.
