Off the beaten path, tucked in the Carmel Valley Mountains. Whether enjoying a coffee or drinks & bbq’ing from the deck, watching a movie on the big screen, playing pool or poker in the loft or taking a dive in the pool and catching some vitamin D, this home is great to entertain & unwind while you enjoy the serene Carmel Valley views of endless mountains and trees. *The roads to the home are twisty and windy but nothing dramatic. The space The home offers everything you need to be entertained including a movie theatre, full gym, Swedish Sauna, Cold plunge, Hot Tub, indoor or outdoor fireplace, a putting green under the oak trees and game room that offers NFL Blitz, a Slot Machine, pool table and poker table. Consider stopping for groceries prior to your arrival, especially if your stay is only for one night. Once you arrive, you will not want to leave. *Guest Studio is available to book. While the guest studio does not share any common spaces or amenities with this home, I suggest you book it if you consider yourself a very private person and do not want anyone else on the property (link sent upon request) Other things to note -PETS: If you bring a pet, and the pet causes damages, you agree to pay for such damages (door scratches, stained couches, etc). You must ensure they will not scratch any doors or go on the beds or leather sofas. Carmel Valley Veterinary Hospital offers really reasonable rates to board your dogs if this is an option for you. -The pet fee is $150 for up to 2 pets MAX. To avoid doors from being scratched, please do not lock your dogs in a room or lock access to their loved ones. -POOL DISCLAIMER: Swimming pool is offered at no extra cost to you unless you want the pool heated which is $200 per day and requires a two day minimum. If anything should go wrong with the pool during you stay we will do everything in our power to fix it immediately but you will not receive a refund as a result. Please understand that there are certain things out of our control (I.e. arrival of parts and or getting a technician out here). I've never had an issue with the pool other than the pool heater having to be replaced or fixed every 4 years which is random and unannounced. -Studio: The guest studio is located 50 ft away from the main home. It sits below the main home and directly behind the swimming pool. This place is separate and has no common or shared areas with the main home. Guests have their own private entrance and parking. If you would like to add it we will send you the link, otherwise it may be booked. -Make sure to bring all of your groceries and beverages as you are a 15-20 minute drive from Carmel Valley village (8 miles exactly) and there is no grocery store nearby. I will provide basic items like salt, pepper, coffee and filters. -WIFI: Using advanced satellites in a low orbit, Starlink enables video calls, online gaming, streaming, and other high data rate activities that historically have not been possible with satellite internet. -I have ATT and can receive phone calls without wifi by the table on the top deck and by the shed in front of the swimming pool. You will have to connect to wifi to enable wifi calling and texts if you do not have service. -GPS will take you past our entrance because our location is not accurately marked on GPS. Please follow my picture check-in instructions (found on "how to get inside") -The drive to this property is on a narrow, winding country road which is dark at night. Please plan to arrive during daylight if it is your first time at the property. Do not plan to travel into town to restaurants or weddings for heavy drinking and expect to drive back to the home safely. Use pull-out spots to pull over for locals that may be driving faster. *HOWEVER, you may take an alternate route by continuing on Carmel Valley Rd toward Tassajara Road. -My landscapers will be by on Wednesday and Fridays around 4-5 PM to do maintenance. -Check-in/Checkout: 10 AM Checkout/4 PM Check-in Early Check-in or Late Checkout is $50 an hour to account for an extra cleaning person to get the home ready on time.
