Welcome to Hearth and Pine A-frame on Sand Lake. Our comfortable and cozy year-round retreat is on sandy beachfront nestled among pines and oaks in Northern Wisconsin, and it is perfect for families, couples, outdoor enthusiasts, or girl’s getaway weekends – dog-friendly too! The spaces have been significantly updated, designed to retain the cool cabin vibe but adding comfort and convenience with some fun built in. Whatever “cabin” means to you, we’ve got it. The space The entire cabin has been updated with a blend of comfy and cool design features and just the right amount of kitsch. The A-frame offers a fully renovated bathroom w/ shower, bedroom, loft bedroom, and family room area with bunk beds. Main cabin features another bathroom w tub/shower combo, large bedroom (w/ dedicated work space and plenty of room for a crib or pack-n-play), living room with gas fireplace, dining room, fully stocked eat-in kitchen (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots/pans, bake/serving ware, dishes/glasses, utensils). Outdoors you’ll find plenty of guest parking; a “toy” shed (for life preservers, kayaks, paddleboard, water toys, etc.); large lake-front deck with patio seating, bistro lighting and gas grill; sandy beachfront with shallow shores great for splashing; lovely dock perfect for dangling toes in the water. • Living room, dining room, fully stocked eat-in kitchen, separate kids family room/hangout space • 3 BR, sleeps 6 (6 beds: 2 Queen, 1 full, 3 twins) • Pack-n-play • 2 full baths (1 with tub) • Gas fireplace • 2 smart TVs • High speed wifi • Dedicated private workspace • Washer/dryer • Large deck with gas grill and bistro lighting • Water toys (4 adult/1 child kayak, paddleboard, life preservers, noodles, sand toys, etc.) • Parking for 4 vehicles Enjoy the lake views or stroll our sandy beach while you sip your morning coffee, or venture out to charming Stone Lake (just a mile west) or a short 15 minute drive to DT Hayward for restaurants, groceries, shopping, antiques and, of course, fudge! Dog lovers and their furry friends are welcome here, with a great Bark Park located just past Hayward if they need to stretch their legs. If you love spending time outdoors, Hearth and Pine is the perfect starting point, no matter the season. Enjoy summertime hikes, fishing (muskies, anyone?), swimming, and boating (bring yours or rent one) or catch the sunrise or sunset from our dock. Winter offers easy access to numerous trails for cross country skiing, (the Birkebeiner is held just a few miles from here!), snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or those quiet crunchy walks in the snow. Other nearby events include Lumberjack World Championships, Cranberry Festival, and Chequamegon Mountain Bike Festival. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire home.
