The Experience: Climb out of the busyness of life into the Peaceful Pines nestled a mere 20 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Your senses will be heightened as the winding private drive takes you above the clouds into the Peaceful Pines of this secluded 9-acre property that boarder’s national forest. Vast and amazing views both inside and out, await the weary traveler who stays in this newly constructed mountain home that is truly a one-of-a-kind property. The space Open Concept Area: As you enter the home you will immediately be awe struck by the incredible views through the floor to 16’ ceiling windows covering the back of the house. The entire main level is covered in exquisite custom circle cut fir wood floors. The main level living space includes an open concept kitchen with high end Bosh appliances, gas stove, oversized quartz island and countertops, a dining area and living room complete with the added ambiance of a wood burning stove (wood provided). Awaken and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea from the Keurig or electric tea pot. Delight in a country breakfast or grill up a steak and the freshly caught trout from your day’s excursions in the fully equipped professional kitchen. Master Bedroom/ Bath (Sleeps 2): Make your way through the double doors to the spacious master bedroom where you can decompress from the day on the cozy king sized Tempur-Pedic mattress and fresh luxury linens while streaming your favorite shows on the smart tv and enjoying the ambiance of the gas fireplace. Enjoy the sensational views from your bed or walk out one of the sliding glass doors to the hot tub to experience nature firsthand. Indulge in the spa-like master bathroom designed with your comfort in mind. Your feet will be warm with heated tile floors. You will have plenty of space while in awe with the double vanity, quartz countertops, tile accent wall, and large custom built walk-in closet. Refresh yourself in the oversized walk-in shower with quartz bench and the peacefulness of a rainfall showerhead. Fresh towels, hand towels, spa quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will be provided in each bathroom. Additionally, we will provide cotton balls, Q-tips, a few extra rolls of toilet paper, and a hair dryer (1 for the house) so you can pack less while retaining those little comforts of home. Laundry Room: In Colorado, the best memories are often made outdoors and that might mean getting dirty, but don’t fret, with the new frontload washer and dryer and complimentary laundry detergent you can wash away all that dirt from your clothes and keep only the memories. There is also a convenient utility sink and an iron and ironing board. Guest Bedroom (Sleeps 2): Included on the main level, your friends or family will also be treated to a cozy experience with a comfortable double bed with fresh luxury linens, an oversized closet, and ample natural light. Guest Bath: The guest bath can be used as a private ensuite bathroom for guests or a shared bathroom and is equipped with a full-size tub with shower. Office: Stunning views and intense inspiration await the traveling professional who stays at the Peaceful Pines. A main level retreat, complete with a large desk, printer, and ethernet connections as well as direct walk out access to the covered back patio. It’s the perfect location any time of year to take a meeting, catch up on email, check in on your business, or write your next great work. Basement – Guest Bedrooms (Sleeps 8)/ Family Room: End the long fun filled day, relaxing on the sectional in the basement watching your favorite show, movie, or sporting event on the 65” smart tv. If you have an iFit account, hop on the treadmill for a quick workout. The 2 additional bedrooms are each equipped with double bunk beds with fresh linens. There is a full bathroom with a full-size tub with a shower. Outside Living: With picturesque access from the family room, office, or master bedroom, you’ll find yourself immersed in an iconic mountain experience as you walk outside into the great outdoors. There is an extensive list of things to keep you busy or help you relax from daily life. Spend the morning sipping coffee in the solitude of the mountains. Enjoy the day relaxing under the covered patio on the outdoor furniture while your family plays cornhole and ladder ball or walk out of the back of the property onto national forest for an adventurous hike! Fill your evenings by relaxing in the hot tub for six under the stars or cooking up your meals outside on the fully equipped gas grill for a mouthwatering delicacy. Children: Your children will feel right at home, and you won’t have to pack as much, since we offer a highchair, pack and play, children’s gate, an assortment of toys and games, lots of space inside to enjoy, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Please note, parents must watch their children at this location and follow all rules and warning signs as there are many topographic and wildlife hazards while staying in the mountains. Pets: Pets are welcome with an additional cleaning fee. Please clean up after your pets inside and outside. Dudu bags will be provided as well as spot remover for any accidents. We request that pets remain on the main level to keep them off the basement carpet. Other: An extensive list of local recommended places to dine, hike, fish, sightsee, kayak, rent ATVs, shop, and other fun things to do is available via a QR code when you get to the home. Additional blankets, linens, queen sized air mattresses, and pillows are available upon advanced request. Supplied for You - ample trash bags, paper towels, basic cleaning supplies, laundry soap, (1) iron and ironing board, fresh towels, hand towels, spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton balls, Q-tips, a few extra rolls of toilet paper, (1) hair dryer for the house, assortment of board games and outdoor games, assortment of children’s toys, (1) highchair, (1) Pack and Play, (1) children’s gate, Dudu bags, spot remover, and plenty of firewood. Both TVs are set up with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Paramount+, Paramount Network and other apps that, provided you have an account, can log into while enjoying your stay. Guest access The house is situated on 9 acres that backs to the National Forest. As a guest, you are more than welcome to hike the National Forest and on the property at your own risk. Please be respectful of our neighbors. The owners stay in a 5th wheel below the main house. Other things to note While the driveway is steep and gravel, it is well maintained year round. We have had multiple 2wd and lower profile vehicles on the property without issue. However, this is Colorado and snowstorms can come with limited warning and it does take time to plow roads. In the event there is inclement weather, causing a guest to have issues, we will provide reasonable accommodations by shuttling to and from the property.
